- Fengyun: Alright, we still have enough canned, dried, and frozen provisions. But seeing as we're near the coast, we might as well try to get some more fresh food...
Are you the ship's cook?
- Fengyun: Me? No, no, no. I look after the ship's stores and supplies. The cook's busy below deck.
- Fengyun: It's just too bad that all we have to hand is canned food and dried or frozen supplies. Otherwise, I'd have him whip you up a feast!
- That sounds rough.
- How do you have the strength to sail the seas without proper meals?
- Fengyun: Well, it's not that bad...
- Fengyun: I heard that back in the day, sailors had to stick to a strict routine for their meals — once you left port, you'd eat the perishables first, then ration the rest day by day...
- Fengyun: ...Until all you had left were biscuits and bread so stale, it might as well be bricks. Now, that's rough...
- Fengyun: The preservation techniques we have these days are so much better! Our meals might not count as fine dining, but at least everything's reasonably fresh and nutritious.
- Fengyun: Switching out Cryo potions and Mist Flowers is a breeze compared to cutting the rotten bits off perishable food, at any rate.
