Gwaffah

Elder Gwaffah was an Eremite and a member of the Tanit tribe.

Profile

According to Jeht, Gwaffah and Babel were "eyesores" to one another, though the exact reasons for their discord are never specified. Babel ordered Jeht to kill him, which she did with the jawbone of a Sumpter Beast.^[1] Gwaffah's name appears struck out on the Crumpled Namelist in Jeht's tent in the Tanit Camps.

Trivia

• As with the many other Biblical references in Jeht's storyline, Gwaffah's death references the Old Testament. Judges 15 records Samson's massacre of the Philistine army using only the jawbone of a donkey as his weapon.
