Wolf of the North

The Wolf of the North, also known as Boreas^[1] or simply as the North Wind, is a title held by one of the Four Winds of Mondstadt. The title is simultaneously held by the wolf god Boreas, as well as by the Knight of Boreas, a human knight recognized by Boreas.^[2]

Knight of Boreas

The Knight of Boreas title is held by certain individuals who have been specially recognized by Boreas. Traditionally, these individuals have been Grand Masters or Masters of the Knights of Favonius.^[3] There have been four known holders of this title:^[2]

• The Wandering Knight, the first Knight of Boreas. He was the original wielder of Wolf's Gravestone.^[4][5]
• Ravenwood, the second Knight of Boreas.
• Rostam, the Master of the Knights of Favonius 500 years ago.^[3]
• Varka, the current Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius.

Roland was named as a Knight of Boreas candidate but never granted to be one before his descent into madness and eventual demise.^[6]
