At dawn, The Alcor dropped anchor by a nameless shore. I scattered breadcrumbs across the deck and watched as the gulls quarreled for their share before taking flight once more. A thought came to me then: even weary birds have a nest to return to, yet in this vast world of sea and sky, where can a traveler's heart find rest?

Just as that thought lingered, the white sails caught the wind, and the sound of the anchor sinking into the waves mingled softly with the rhythm of the tide. In that moment, my body felt lighter, like a single leaf of duckweed, rootless and unmoored, yet free and untroubled all the same. Our journeys — the steps we take, the pauses we make, the partings we endure — all arise from a single fleeting thought. And if one's heart remains at peace, then surely, no matter where the wind carries us, every place beneath the heavens can be called home.

I've heard your travels have carried you to Nod-Krai. Perhaps one day we'll meet again, maybe at a quiet harbor where the waves rest, or by chance in the shade of some distant forest. When that time comes, I'd like to walk beside you once more, and hear you tell the stories you've gathered beneath the moonlight.

Though storms and thunder may await along your road, remember that the gentle breeze never leaves your side. It will always return to sweep the clouds away.
