Mail/Another Birthday, A New Vow... (2025-09-07)

Sigh. Another year has passed, but I've not made any meaningful progress. It's been all too quiet lately, and there have not been any spirits to be exorcised. I've made several outings to search for lurking fiends, but each time I return empty-handed... Now, of course I do not wish for evil spirits to turn the world upside down! It's just that... I can train day after day, but if I don't experience true combat...

The thought of this has sparked a deep resentment that feels like a roaring and suffocating fire. Then, in a moment of weakness, I indulged in a few more popsicles, so much so that Xingqiu even teased me by saying that I had, at least, mastered the art of making popsicles!

Hmph, since he said that, I figured I might as well make more. I've been experimenting with all sorts of flavors, and you are welcome to come try them if you're interested.

I must keep to my birthday vow no matter what, and continue to patrol the land with my blade in hand! Only by doing so will I be worthy of this longsword in my hand... and of the countless popsicles that are now in my belly.
