Mail/Forced to Go On Leave... (2026-01-10)

I have some good news and some not-so-good news: the most unmotivated members of the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol have turned over a new leaf.

They used to think I was too hard on them, and would secretly grumble about the intensity of the training. I never would have expected that after the joint exercises with our neighboring allies, they would come to see certain gaps in their abilities and actually ask me to increase their training frequency...

This has also sparked a positive wave of competition within the team — after all, no one wants to be at the bottom.

However, the prolonged, high-intensity training and competition has left many of them burned out, and this has in turn affected their performance in missions.

So, I've sent the most exhausted among them on break, and promised to lead by example and take a breather myself.

Take today, for instance — I've decided to have a quiet day in with a new movie while "wiping out" the sins committed by fat and sugar...
