Of the Unexpected

"From a linguistic standpoint, every question the little witches draw could technically be called an 'unexpected question.' After all, aside from a rare few, most people can't see the threads of fate, so whatever they draw is bound to be a surprise. Still, while every question is unexpected, some are definitely more unexpected than others. For instance, one little witch might be asked to use the primordial light to create her own material world. Meanwhile, another might be told to grant a 'soul' to a being that only exists in imagination. Even the magic instructors themselves would find such a task nearly impossible. Honestly, who thought it was a good idea to put a question like that in the exam?"
