Dialogue
Quest DescriptionYou and Chongyun successfully enter the Test of Courage, but as you track the evil spirits, Chongyun suddenly experiences a rush of unstable yang energy and must rest. But it would be a shame to leave without having found any evil spirits. And so you forge on alone, leaving Chongyun behind to rest.
No Wasted Effort
- (Approach Zhouliang)
- Zhouliang: Ugh... I'm beat. Finally, I can take a break.
- Zhouliang: *sigh* I wonder if I took things a little too far... A few people seemed scared out of their minds.
Who are you?- Zhouliang: Huh? Hey, you shouldn't be here!
- Zhouliang: *sigh* Never mind. I assume you overheard me anyway.
- Zhouliang: I work here pretending to be a ghost, but now's my break time, so I took off my costume. I get all hot and stuffy wearing that thing...
- So there are no real ghosts here?
- It's all planned to scare people. right?
- Zhouliang: Of course, how could there be real ghosts here?
- Zhouliang: No one wants to see a real ghost, neither us nor the participants.
- Zhouliang: They just come here for the atmosphere, or should I say, the chance... Everyone wants the chance to feel the thrill of excitement.
- Zhouliang: When people find themselves in a scary situation, they'll say things that they'd never dare to otherwise. That's what the Test of Courage is all about.

- No, I only saw an event staff member pretending to be a ghost.
- Chongyun: Huh...? So that's what's going on here!?
- Chongyun: No evil spirits...? No danger...? It's all just a setup...?
- I'm sorry, but that seems to be the truth.
- That's all there is to the Test of Courage.
- It's just for entertainment, you took it way too seriously.
- Chongyun: I—I see... it seems I've been tricked again.
- Chongyun: Uh oh, I'm starting to feel more and more... uncomfortable.
- Chongyun: Now that everything's settled here... let's head back to Liyue Harbor.
- Chongyun: But could you... help me walk back?
- You don't look so good.
