Ulrike was born and raised in Mondstadt. She stayed on as a member of the Knights of Favonius as Thoma went to Inazuma in search of his father,^[2] keeping in contact with her son through letters and correspondence. She is described as a free-spirited, thoughtful, and generous member of the Knights who is apparently well regarded by many. She is also said to have a fondness for alcohol, an inclination she seems to share with Thoma's father.^[2][3] Her alcohol capacity is described as good enough to "drink most sailors under the table," and her favorite tavern is the Angel's Share.^[1] She has received orders to join Grand Master Varka at the expedition's encampment in Nod-Krai.^[3] Before she left, the Knights in the city held a farewell party at the Angel's Share for her; what was meant to be a small event resulted in the tavern being packed with well wishers.
