Zichang

Zichang was a historian from Liyue and the author of the multi-volume Stone Tablet Compilations, a history book that compiles and translates the ancient stone tablets of Liyue which recount a variety of fragmentary historical events. The first volume of Zichang's publication recounts the history of how Rex Lapis descended, Guizhong built the Guizhong Ballista, the pair ruled over Guili Plains together, and the formation of Liyue Harbor under Rex Lapis in an era of peace.^[1] Elsewhere in Stone Tablet Compilations, Zichang's writings include a number of allusions to the oft-changing physical appearance of the Adeptus Cloud Retainer^[2] and the tale of the legendary founder of the Yun family.^[3]
