The Captain's Hyperion Crew are people aboard the Hyperion Ship (Captain's Bizarre Adventure) who were recruited by the Captain to join the Hyperion. The crew's initial objective is to find Seele (Seele's Quantum Diary). But as the stories continue, they clash with Ferryman's plan to use Ether cores in bubble universes. Those aboard usually serve as protagonists in events beside the Captain, including events where the Captain didn't appear. The crew is usually pretty close to each other, most notably to the Captain.

As of Captain's Ranch Tale, the crew is still traveling through bubble universes. Their objective is to return the Ether cores they possess to their original worlds.

Overview

The Captain's Hyperion Crew are people who travel between universes. The members themselves are from different universes and joined the crew because they wanted to adventure between the universes. Zhuge Kongming joined the crew because she was being hunted by her home world. Since she was deemed an "anomaly" in her world, she boarded the Captain's Hyperion in order to escape from her world.

Each member of the crew is a skilled fighter and has unique abilities. For example, the Captain has the ability of "conscious mapping," which is an ability to transfer his consciousness. Alongside that, Bronie is capable of constructing drones out of thin air.

Upon becoming a member, that person will be assigned a room to stay in. The Captain does not give particular jobs to the crew members. Instead, they do what they typically would. Zhuge Kongming, an excellent strategist, is often the one who organizes the team when on a mission, while Rita Rossweisse (Fallen Rosemary) acts as the crew's maid because she likes to clean. The crew is all very close to each other. They tease one another and sometimes arrange parties on the Hyperion. Zhuge Kongming, despite her dislike for Rita's behaviors and their arguments, offered her a cake for her birthday.

All of the crew members are very respectful to their leader, the Captain. While sometimes the crew teases the Captain, they nevertheless hold him in high regard, doing as he commands and reporting to him before making decisions. Additionally, Ai-chan, the ship's AI, programmed the ship to only travel at the Captain's command.

History

The Beginning

At an unknown time, Ferryman split himself with "consciousness mapping," and thus a "Man" was born. While the "Man" was in a bubble universe, Ferryman assigned Rita Rossweisse to monitor and assist "him" on his journey. The man then became an employee of Schicksal and achieved the rank of a captain; thus, he was called "Captain" by all people. He was then assigned by Otto Apocalypse (Captain's Bizarre Adventures) to lead a spaceship, the "Hyperion," as its captain.

Meeting Luna, Kallen, and Himeko

Otto Apocalypse, searching for a future in which Kallen was still alive, sent the Captain to another universe, but there was a synchronization issue with the Captain's ability, "consciousness mapping," that made the Captain wake up with memory loss. The Captain then met Murata Himeko from that universe. He then accepted to help Himeko with investigating a vampire attack. During the night, the two split up, and the Captain met Luna Kindred, who turned out to be the vampire. The Captain then learns that Luna was being hunted by a huntress named Kallen Kaslana, who turned out to be Luna's older sister.

Trivia

• Zhuge Kongming determines each crew's bedroom. After the Blood Moon Fades, she makes new arrangements.
  • The Captain's room was originally next to Kongming's, which was cozy and spacious. However, as she still didn't completely trust the new members (Kallen, Himeko, Delta, Kasumi and especially Luna), Kongming changed the Captain's room to the guest room next to the storage room.
    • When the Captain asked when he would return to his original bedroom, Kongming replied with only when she has grown a bit and has a better figure than Rita.^[2]
  • Kongming's room was originally next to the Captain's. After she moved the Captain's room, she's now next to Luna's room.
    • Kongming had initially planned to give her room to Luna so that she could move into the Captain's room. However, her plan included her bed being bigger so she could use it as an offer, which it wasn't.^[3]
  • Luna's room was originally the Captain's room and is located next to Kongming's. Kongming appointed Luna to live next door so she could easily observe her.
  • Kasumi, Kallen, and Himeko's rooms are located in three neighboring guest rooms next to Rita's. Kongming appointed them there because it is quieter.
  • Delta's bedroom is located across from Bronie's and Sirin's. Kongming appointed her there because she thinks they will get along well.
• The ship being upgraded by Bronie, after she taking some parts from Ferryman's Hyperion Ship.
• Rock-paper-scissors has been given a unique name by the crew.
  • Rock as "Light Curtain Pounding Rock" which is named from Bronie's home the Arc City.
  • Paper as "HOMU HOMU Silky-Soft Paper" which is named from The Homu mascot.
  • Scissors as "Magic Girl Snip-Snip Scissors" which is named from Sirin's weapon.
