Dirac Sea
Last updated 2026-08-04
Dirac Sea was an Abyss-variant game mode in Honkai Impact 3rd that was added in Version 2.8 and replaced by Q-Manifold in Version 5.6. Here, Captains could "race" their way through bosses against other Captains to get the highest points, gaining rewards depending on their placing.
Gameplay
Dirac Sea had four floors, each with a boss that had to be defeated to enter the next floor.[1] After advancing to each floor, Captains would have their progress saved. Progress was recorded based on the enemies' total HP loss.[2] Since Version 3.2 it cycled with the previous Abyss-variant game mode Q-Singularis.[3] Dirac Sea would open every MON and FRI.
Scoring
In Dirac Sea, scores were based on clearing progress, where Captains with a higher total progress score would rank higher. For Captains who had the same scores, the one who obtained it first would rank above the other.[3] The last boss of the floors could be challenged multiple times, with a shorter clearing time equaling to more points.[1]

Map Devices
Captains could use Mag Cards to switch map devices on/off, which applied to the entire group. Mag Cards could be acquired through gathering. Map effects and restrictions would become more complex as Captains advanced in ranks.
Interferes
Captains could collect Interferrons that summoned powerful Interfere Bosses at the target Captain's map. Each condition satisfied would buff the target Boss with special skills. If the summoned Interfere Boss was not killed within two hours, the targeted Captain would lose some points. No more than three Interfere Bosses could be summoned in one Captain's area at the same time.[1] If the Interfere Boss was defeated before finalization, the deducted score would be returned.
Weathers
Dirac Sea, similar to Abyss-variant game modes Q-Manifold and Superstring Dimension, had a weather system for each of its rotations.[4] Each floor would also have its own weather. Below is a list of weathers known through version patch notes or recordings.
