Dialogue
- (First interaction)
- Albus: Look, look — this object is obviously flawed, and they dare claim "their store is not responsible for product quality once a sale is finalized?" Do you think that's reasonable?! Completely unreasonable!
- Bolaris: Hm, it is rather obvious, isn't it... But it's not a big problem. I can patch that up for you.
- Albus: Of course I know it can be patched up. I'm just mad! I'd get it if they were just some small private workshop, but how can a legitimate store pull something like this?
- Albus: If you ask me, these outlanders just don't know how Okhema works! They sit around doing nothing and demand "payment in installments"! They give you three months after the presale to pay the deposit and by the time you make the final payment, six months have slipped by. Even then, it'll still be two months before you even get what you asked for!
- Albus: If I have to wait, fine, I can deal with that. But they ask an exorbitant price, the quality is rubbish, and they won't refund me! I don't care how novel and interesting they make their divine statues... I'm not buying a single one!
- Bolaris: Why not try somewhere more reliable next time? What about that kid Theodoros' place...
- Albus: Don't even get me started on him! Just thinking about him makes me mad! He was a good kid, but he's picked up all those outlanders' bad habits...
- Albus: You know about that Chrysos Heir dolia series, right? I liked the look of them and wanted to order a Kephale dolium for myself. Then he tells me I have to wait at least half a year for it! Don't you think that's ridiculous? Ridiculous, right!?
- Bolaris: Haha, there's no need to get so worked up. That series sold really well. He just can't keep up with the orders.
- Albus: Hmph... I have to admit, that kid does some good work. I bought that Twelve Titans statuette set a while back. The shape, the colors... Even if we ignore the others, the Kephale from that set is still my favorite to this day.
- Bolaris: You have that set!? I love that set. I was trying to get my hands on one for ages, but I never managed. All I could do was pay extortionate prices for a few spare pieces.
- Albus: Hehe. I didn't just buy one, I bought three set! You know what it's like — one set for the collection, one for daily use, and one to show off...
That's a bit much.
- Albus: Uhh.. Though I don't fully understand what you mean by that, it sounds like you're expressing approval of my deep love for Kephale? Haha, thank you!
You sound like someone I've met before...
- Albus: Oh-ho! You know other outstanding disciples like myself? That's great! You'll have to introduce me sometime if you get the chance!
Don't you think that's a waste?
- Albus: Ah! Watch your mouth, child — something done out of faith could never be described as a waste!
- Albus: I see you've been listening in on our conversation for a while, youngster. Well, are you interested in Titan-related artworks, too?
- Albus: Let me warn you. There's a steep learning curve — beginners often end up buying imitation or faulty products. Even if they do get the real thing, getting it for a good price can be tough.
- Albus: That being said, I can tell that you have fine taste. I can share some of my experience with you. Tell me, which Titan do you have fait in?
I have a little faith in all of them.
- Albus: Haa... Though I don't like to criticize the faith of others, such a lack of devotion will never win you the favor of the gods.
I believe in Akivili.
- Albus: Hmm... I've never heard that name before. Is it a Titan's nickname?
I believe in the bat in my hands.
- Albus: Hahaha! Youngsters these days... Though, I'm no stick in the mud. It's understandable. Very understandable.
- Bolaris: Ah... One of my patrons is calling me. You two carry on. Oh, I forgot to mention — I developed a spray-painting machine recently. It isn't completely reliable just yet, but it's running. You should come and test it for me sometime.
- Albus: Oh... Sure, sure! Do what you need to do, and I'll come and find you after my daily prayers!
- (Subsequent interactions)
- Albus: What kind of collectable items are kids into nowadays? Tell me, and I'll give you a few suggestions!
Why don't you introduce your collection first?
- Albus: Now that you bring this up, I'm not sleepy anymore! I have a total of 839 items in my collection — excluding orders that haven't arrived yet and those I've bought multiple times - all of which are art pieces related to the "Throne of Worlds, Kephale."
- Albus: Including but not limited to: Statues, official seals, pottery, ceramic plates, frescoes, stone tablets, embroidery, tapestries...
- Albus: It's nothing to sneeze at. Every single one of them represents my piety and love for Kephale — proof of where I place my faith!
That many!?- Albus: Do I have too many? I don't think I've got enough. Look how great that Titan is! It is mankind's first creation, and our final guardian — you see, isn't the reason that we're still able to live out such comfortable lives entirely due to its protection?
What experience would you like to pass on?
- Albus: The first thing is — choose a reliable store! Those smaller stores may seem to have good stuff for cheap, but the craftmanship is actually terrible. They're basically doomed to have dust on the lacquer and fingerprints on the varnish, as we say in the industry.
- Albus: If it's ceramic artworks you're after, you can check out Theodoros' store. His stuff is all fantastic, quality guaranteed — but it takes a while to get through the queue.
- Albus: If you want to buy embroidered works or tapestries, then you can rummage around Aphrea's tailor shop. The young lady there has exquisite skills, and more often than not, the finished craftmanship will surpass your expectations.
- Albus: As for stone tablets... just go straight to Ctesiphona's librarium. Doesn't matter if it's serious classic, or pulp picture novels — they've basically got everything, and in large quantity, too.
I'm busy, so I'll be heading off.
- Albus: Cool, it's been real nice chatting with you. Come back whenever you like for the latest gossip!
Beyond Time: An Eternal Page
- Old Fabio: *sigh*... Hey! Stop laughing and help me figure something out here!
- Demetria: It's good for young people to be lively. Look at my Possephone, cooped up in her room doing research all day. I actually wish she'd get out and about more!
- Albus: If you ask me, your girls have always been the type who can't sit still. Helkolithism might actually be a pretty good fit for them.
- Old Fabio: If only it were that simple! You know those two all too well. With their talent for causing trouble, they got called out plenty of times back at the Grove during their studies...
- Old Titus: Haha, I can vouch for that. Old Fabio here was the only parent in that student cohort who met every single teacher.
- Old Fabio: Oh, come on — you old geezer, way to bring up exactly what you shouldn't! You...
You guys seem to be having a great time.
- Demetria: Huh, what's this... hey everyone, look who's here —
Love it, keep going, tell me more.
- Old Fabio: What are you listening t— Oh? Is that you, young one! Long time no see. Came by for a chat?
- Albus: Oh hey, perfect timing! I just received a rare Kephale triptych the other day — it's quite a unique piece. You should come check it out when you have the chance.
- Old Titus: Tsk... you bought more? Didn't you just get three sets of glazed figurines last week? Lucky for you, your boy Akmonides rakes in the cash, or nobody could afford to keep up with your shopaholic old self.
- Albus: I'm spending my own savings here! Besides, I've only borrowed from him a few times, and I've always written an IOU like a good sport! Unlike someone whose son went and bought a retirement home without saying a word.
- Old Titus: Oh, come off it! If you managed to sell all that junk of yours, you'd have enough for two houses by now.
- Old Fabio: Whoa whoa whoa, I asked for your advice, and you fellows started bickering instead!
Got yourself in trouble?- Old Fabio: It's not really trouble, It's just that my two troublemaker daughters suddenly told me they want to change to the Helkolithist school...
Got more tea to spill? Do tell!- Old Fabio: No tea! Just those trouble-making daughters of mine, suddenly telling me they want to change to the Helkolithist school...
- Old Fabio: Not to stereotype, but I heard the folks from that school are all about "physically overpowering their opponents." With those two troublemakers at home, I'm worried they'll end up demolishing the house if they hang around them too long...
- Old Titus: Oh come on, that's just a stereotype — they call it "research and practice focused on human physical and psychological phenomena."
- Demetria: Alright, alright, you two stop arguing. Let the young ones worry about their own business. As parents, shouldn't we trust our kids?
- Demetria: We just got a fresh batch of Mediterrana figs in the shop today. They're super fresh! Here, let me get some for you to try. Hey (Trailblazer), don't run off! I've got some for you too!
