Akivili is an Aeon in Honkai: Star Rail representing the Path of Trailblaze.

There are three directions on the compass of destiny — the Unknown, the Known, and the Unknowable. THEY can tolerate the Unknown, but will never bow to the Unknowable.
Akivili left the isolated world of Pegana and continued to expand the unknown edges of the universe, trying to find an endpoint of the Tree of Existence. Unfortunately, Akivili's destiny was abruptly ended due to an accident.

Of all known Aeons, Akivili was the closest to mankind; THEY were recorded adventuring, fighting, and celebrating with mortals.^[2]

History

Origins

Akivili originated from the planet Pegana,^[3] and created the Astral Express to transport THEMSELF and the Nameless across the galaxy. THEIR creation of the star rail network connected distant galaxies together and facilitated communication between them. The remnants of these star tracks are still used by the Interastral Peace Corporation and the Xianzhou Alliance today as safe routes.^[1] According to Isee, Pegana is at 'the end of the universe'.

Disappearance

Akivili would disappear mysteriously one day during Dolly's tenure as Navigator, leaving Isee and a group of loyal Nameless to carry on what THEY had started and continue THEIR exploration of the unknown. The Express eventually fell into Planarcadia during Asat Pramad's campaign to destroy the planet and all its passengers would die fighting against the Antimatter Legion. It laid dormant for an unknown period of time before Himeko discovered and repaired it.^[4] According to Kafka, Nous may be the only being who knows what happened to THEM.^[5] The Data Bank also alludes to an "accident" which abruptly ended Akivili's destiny, while Himeko refers to Akivili as deceased.^[2]

Connection with the Trailblazer

According to Asat Pramad, at a core level, the Trailblazer is becoming a focal point of the Path of Trailblaze. He further explains that this is the Path itself responding to the Trailblazer, and that they are heading toward a future where they may one day ascend as Akivili themselves.^[6] Aha THEMSELF calls the Trailblazer as 'Akivili' during Mythological Philosophy and Fair Game whilst discussing with Louis Fleming.

• The Trailblaze Calendar used by the Astral Express is said to have come from Pegana, Akivili's home planet.^[7]
  • The Trailblaze calendar system has each year split into twelve months, and each month is of different length. Apparently this calendar is still used in many of the planets that Akivili had once passed in their travels.
• The Nameless's Memory Bubble is said to contain the dreams of Akivili, which can be purchased and replayed at Dr. Edward's Dreamscape Sales Store.
  • After showing the Memory Bubble to Pom-Pom during the dialogue of Achievement The Worst Nameless Ever, they admit that many things that have happened on this train aren't within the Trailblazer's knowledge, and will talk about them when the time is right.
• In the main story of Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.8, a Memokeeper from the Garden of Recollection claimed that Akivili has never reached the world of Honkai Impact 3rd.

Etymology

• The name "Akivili" is likely derived from the Latin "aquili," meaning "of the north wind" or "of the eagle." Both etymologies are related to the Aeon's qualities, as the northern cardinal direction is important in navigation, and eagles are sharp-eyed and speedy.
