So I've only been back on the Overworld for a while. My seat is not even warmed up yet, and those Silvermane Guards are rushing to get me to be their advisor
You've just finished that thing about the Stellaron, and these impatient fools are already trying to launch a counteroffensive at the Fragmentum
But if we're talking about the Fragmentum, I think only you lot can claim expertise

If you're planning to join the offense, go and look for a liaison officer named William at the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone
The Fragmentum they wanted to clear is called the Corridor of Fading Echoes. Quite a chilling name, isn't it? But I'm guessing it'll be easy as pie for you

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

Oleg wants you to go to the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone and look for a liaison officer named William. William will take you to the Corridor of Fading Echoes for the first counter attack operation.
(Talk to Liaison Officer William)

Icon Dialogue Arrow It's me.
Liaison Officer William: I—It's an honor to meet you!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Where's Oleg?
Liaison Officer William: C—Captain Oleg's already hit the front lines... He said that you'd definitely come!
Liaison Officer William: L—Let me recap your target this time: Err... Charge the Corridor of Fading Echoes, and defeat all the Fragmentum monsters lurking there. Yes, that's what it says here in the memo.
Liaison Officer William: O—Oh yeah, the Technology Division told me that they'd set up advanced enemy defenses on the front line which could be used in combat. I th—think they're called... They're called Snowshine Lamps.
Liaison Officer William: Ask Captain Oleg on the front lines about how to use it.
Liaison Officer William: I—If you're ready to go to the front lines now, just let me know. I—I'll take you to see Captain Oleg.

Talk to Oleg

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

You receive Oleg's invitation to an operation to clear the Corridor of Fading Echoes of Fragmentum monsters.
Talk to Oleg to get a sense of the current situation of the battleground.
(Talk to Oleg)
Oleg: Hey, (Trailblazer)! I can't believe you are here!
Oleg: I didn't think you would come. After all, you have offered us a lot of help. I'd be imposing on you if I ask anything more from you.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I enjoy fighting the Fragmentum.
Oleg: Wow, I admire your fighting spirit! You remind me of myself when l was young, hahaha!
Icon Dialogue Arrow As long as I'll be rewarded, I'm open to any missions.
Oleg: Of course, you will. How can we make you work for nothing?
Icon Dialogue Arrow I'll do my best to punish and eliminate the evil.
Oleg: Wow, you're so righteous! You remind me of myself when I was young, hahaha!
Oleg: By the way, this Corridor of Fading Echoes...
Oleg: It's way more desolate than I imagined. A decade or so ago, the northern region of Belobog was in a better state than this.
Oleg: I believe we'll repair the ruins and get rid of the monsters one day.
Oleg: Listen up, (Trailblazer). The goal of this operation is simple: Destroy all the Fragmentum monsters in the Corridor of Fading Echoes.
Oleg: William must have told you about the Snowshine Lamp, right? The Technology Division has taught me how to use these things before. I'll try and lay it out for you from memory, so listen up.
Oleg: Snowshine Lamps are made from two parts, one of which is the thermic core driven by Geomarrow. Don't underestimate this little gizmo, as it's packing some real power inside.
Oleg: The second part is the base. Slotting the thermic core into the base activates the Snowshine Lamp and radiates an energy field, which can weaken the Fragmentum monsters.
Oleg: But the thermic core's structure is very unstable and can fall out over time if nobody is monitoring it — and may even be carted off and hidden by these monsters...
Oleg: If you want to use the Snowshine Lamp to reduce your load in combat, then pay close attention to its loose thermic core.
Oleg: Oh yeah — the snow's really coming down now. Be careful when you're fighting. You really don‘t want to come down with frostbite.
Oleg: Go and defeat them, (Trailblazer). I'll keep watch here, so don't worry about guarding your back.

Pick up thermic core

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

The Silvermane Guard Technology Division invented a combat support device called the Snowshine Lamp.
Pick up the thermic core on the ground and figure out what the next step is.
(Approach the marked location)
Oleg: As long as the thermic core is slotted into its base, the Snowshine Lamps will fire up.
Oleg: Fire up the lamp, then lure those scums into its energy field to destroy them one by one.
(Pick up thermic core)
Icon Dialogue Loupe Collect
(Optional: Talk to Oleg)
Oleg: As long as the thermic core is slotted into its base, the Snowshine Lamps will fire up.
Oleg: Fire up the lamp, then lure those scums into its energy field to destroy them one by one.

Defeat all enemies in the Corridor of Fading Echoes

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

Clear out the Corridor of Fading Echoes and defeat all of the Fragmentum monsters roaming in the area.
(Approach the second Snowshine Lamp)
Oleg's Voice: Whoa... How did this core all the way over there? Who did that...
Oleg's Voice: In a snow storm this bad, I advise you to proceed carefully with every step, (Trailblazer). Kite around any patrolling monsters, and retrieve the core.
Oleg's Voice: Snowshine Lamps are simply incredible. We really should deploy them more often.

(After defeating the final monster)
(Trailblazer): (This group of monsters should be done for... Go back and report to Oleg.)
Icon Dialogue Exit Go back and report to Oleg.

Talk to Oleg and conclude the operation

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

You cleared out all threats remaining in the Corridor of Fading Echoes.
Report the situation to Oleg.
(Talk to Oleg)
Oleg: Well done, (Trailblazer)! Being straightforward has always been your style.
Oleg: There are no more traces of monsters in the surroundings. The corridor should be peaceful from now on.
Oleg: ...Yet, the effects of Fragmentum are here to stay. It's only a matter of time before they make a comeback. I might need your help again when the time comes.
Oleg: I hope you'll keep in touch with William. That boy might not be articulate, but he is very reliable. Please be more patient with him.
Oleg: These are for you. You can treat them as my rewards for you. Take care, (Trailblazer)!
