Celestial Comet Wall

The Celestial Comet Wall is a superstructure present in Honkai: Star Rail.

Description

Upon Qlipoth's rise to Aeonhood, THEY began THEIR work on the Preservation of the cosmos. The Celestial Comet Wall works in tandem with the Subspace Crystalline Barrier and the Great Attractor Base to achieve this goal and works to keep physical threats from the void, namely Leviathans, from reaching the worlds protected by the wall.^[1][2] The structure is said to be measured in light years.^[3] Under the colossal hammer of the Preservation, celestial bodies are processed into indestructible foundations.^[4]

With each strike of the Aeon's hammer on the wall, the cosmos marks the beginning of a new Amber Era.^[5] When this happens, resources are then scattered across the cosmos. These include:

• Scattered Stardust^[6]
• Crystal Meteorites^[7]
• Divine Amber^[8]
• Celesticomet Alloy^[4]

The original followers of The Preservation saw it as their duty to gather materials to aid Qlipoth in its goal of building the wall. These followers would eventually become the Interastral Peace Corporation after taking claim of Pier Point near where Qlipoth works.^[9] However, Qlipoth has never acknowledged the IPC nor have THEY made use of the IPC's building material contributions.^[10] At some point, the Astral Ecology School from the Intelligentsia Guild discovered the location of the wall, which the IPC paid handsomely for.^[11]

The Xianzhou Alliance refers to the Celestial Comet Wall as the "Echidna Skywall."^[12][13]
