Mission Description

Some of the TV screens in Penacony start to air some strange and vulgar programs. Uma, the TV host wishes to speak with you about it.
Although you don't know what's going on, you might get some insider information if you speak to her...

Did you want something?

Uma: Oh... I didn't expect you to be the "special guest" the director mentioned.

Uma: *ahem* Hi, I'm Uma, a news anchor from The Family. Penacony TV has been caught in a bind lately, so the director sent me to ask for help from a "special guest." I didn't expect it to be you.

What's the issue?

Uma: Alas...we're [sic] unable to work as usual, so... please help us figure out who's behind the issue as soon as possible.

Do I have to appear on the show?

Uma: No, I'm sorry, but that's not the kind of help we need.

Uma: Also, live broadcasting is currently unavailable due to transmission signal interruption. Haven't you noticed we're playing recorded footage on a loop on the roadside billboards?

Uma: Have you noticed the roadside billboards? The technicians from The Family have pulled out all the stops to fix the signal issue, but a handful of screens are still yet to be restored...

Uma: To put it simply, Penacony TV's signal has been hijacked by an unknown organization. They called themselves the "Dreamjolt TV" and have aired several TV programs.

Uma: They threatened to expose The Family's scandals and debunked the illusions fabricated by Penacony TV. In reality, the content they have shown so far has been nothing but disgusting crap.

Uma: The director said you were exceptionally talented. We need your help nabbing the culprit who has hijacked the station's signal and restoring the network to normal!

What do I need to do?

Uma: Don't worry. This thing is simple.

Sounds like a lot of trouble. Can I say no?

Uma: Please do us a favor! It's simple and won't take up too much of your time.

Uma: We've located several terminals with anomalous signals. Now, we need someone skilled to visit those spots and remove those signals manually.

Uma: After fixing the signals from these terminals, we'll be able to find out the real mastermind behind this incident. Of course, we'll also entrust you with this final step.

Sounds like something that can be done in a jiffy.

I thirst for battle!

Uma: I admire your confidence.

Uma: By the way, we've noticed something interesting from the intel sent by The Family.

Uma: When you're fighting with them, you can focus on their weaknesses to gain more audience ratings. This will give you an edge in the battles.

Uma: The director thought you might not need the tip since you were so well-trained... but I'd suggest that you give it a try. It can probably make things easier for you.

Uma: Well, we're counting on you to rescue the station, (sir/miss).
