Profile
Furdo was a straight-A student at Belobog Law School, who eventually became a judge. Dialogue
- (First interaction)
- Furdo: ...Wait! Please file a report with the Silvermane Guards if you encounter any civil disputes. Please don't try to bypass the prosecution and discuss it with the judge directly.
Judge?- Furdo: I know what you want to ask. As a judge, how is it that I am standing out in the street instead of in the courthouse, right? Have you heard of the term "Roaming Judge"?
- Furdo: ...*sigh* Forget about it. It sounds impressive, but I'm just a legal advisor sent to help the guards. Compared to my work at the court, this is a major waste of time...
Waste of time?
Well, you shouldn't put it like that...- Furdo: Don't you think it's a waste of my time to have me out here trying to talk sense into the elderly every day? I was a straight-A student at Belobog Law School. Why am I dealing with trivial family stuff?
- Furdo: I should be in charge of more complex, important cases! That's where I shine! You know what I'm talking about, right?
- Furdo: ...What's that look on your face? Forget it. You aren't much different from those old-timers... Just come to me when you have a big case.
- (Continue onto dialogue options below)
- (Subsequent interactions)
- Furdo: Hmm... I remember you. Got some big case?
Can we talk...?
You seem upset.
- Furdo: Huh? Is it that obvious?
- Furdo: Dealing with a bunch of ignorant old people, every day — you would be annoyed too if you were me.
What kind of legal issues do you help them with?- Furdo: Legal issues? You think too highly of the people of Belobog. What they come to me for has nothing to do with the law. It's all complaints about daily life.
- Furdo: It's always the same thing. The complainant tells me they have been altruistic and taken the big picture into consideration and the offending party has taken advantage of them and is being ungrateful.
- Furdo: You can hear thousands of stories like this at Solwarm Festival family gatherings. Those stories are, in the end, moral blackmail, which I'm not interested in at all.
- Furdo: But I am a legal practitioner after all, so it is my duty to help the public get to know the law. Every time it gets to this part, they start to pretend like they don't understand me.
- Furdo: But who's to blame? After all, the law is always fair and impartial, showing favor to no one?
Wow. You have a hard job.
Just hearing about it makes my head spin.- Furdo: I know, right!? I can't go on being a Roaming Judge for a second longer.
What kind of cases do you consider important?
- Furdo: Corruption-related, with evil organizations or personnel involved. Or at least arms smuggling... or scams...
- Furdo: Forget it. Just pretend like I'm talking nonsense. Belobog is too safe to have cases like that. Even if there is a big case, it's out of my reach...
That's all.
All right, bye.
- (Included in subsequent interactions, upon completing Trailblaze Mission No Time for Me, My Friend)
How have things been?
- Furdo: I've got a big case on my hands! It's a shame I'll never be the one to try the case...
- Furdo: I guess more specifically, I should say that there's no way this case can be tried... Even Lady Bronya herself would not be able to.
What's this case you're talking about?
Even Bronya can't handle it?- Furdo: Yeah. Former Supreme Guardian Cocolia... passed during the Fragmentum disturbance that happened north of Belobog. Her daughter Bronya took over her position after that.
- Furdo: Lady Bronya stated that Cocolia went to the source of the Fragmentum and sacrificed herself to protect Belobog... But that's just what she is saying. Who knows what actually happened? There were no other witnesses after all...
- Furdo: ...Hmph. Then again, that all has nothing to do with me. Change is opportunity. All I have to do now is take hold of this opportunity and find a way to get myself seated at the court... I don't need to keep arguing with those old hags.
Here's to your success.
- Furdo: Hopefully your words will bring me good luck... But I think my chances are not particularly good. Maybe Alexandra Plaza is just where I belong...
You don't stand a chance.
- Furdo: You're right. There's no way it'll work out. Maybe Alexandra Plaza is just where I belong...
Have you thought about being a legal adviser to the Supreme Guardian?
- Furdo: ...Are you out of your mind!? Me? No way. The law is sacred. A small judge like me isn't worthy of a role like that...
- Furdo: Scram. Don't let the guards hear us talking about this...
