Gilbert: Not yet.

Gilbert: But I've applied for a few days off to visit my family, and I think it will be approved since I solved the Malfunctioning Robot problem.

Gilbert: Once I get back home, I must apologize to my wife and daughter...

Gilbert: *Sigh* I'm getting a little nervous. My heart is beating so fast... Finally, I am going to visit them, but why am I so scared?

Gilbert: You're right. She's a big girl now and we've never really talked...

Gilbert: I felt like I was asking for trouble by keeping everything to myself. Maybe all those problems could have been solved if I had just talked to my family...

Gilbert: You too should talk to your friends or family about any confusion you feel inside! Don't keep everything to yourself as I did. It almost ruined my life.

Gilbert: My wife's cooking skills... aren't great. But after all this time, I've come to really love and look forward to that weird-smelling home-cooked aroma...

What have you been up to lately?

Gilbert: Same old, same old. Ore pack inspection, maintaining armament—stuff like that.

Gilbert: I used to think that these jobs were boring as heck... Now I've finally let that go and I find them more interesting.

Gilbert: It's all thanks to you. If you hadn't helped me communicate with my daughter, I would still be in a slump... Thank you so much!

What's interesting lately?

Gilbert: Interesting? Honestly, nothing. Apart from logistics and front-line battles, there is not much going on in the restricted zone... Every day is basically the same.

Gilbert: ...Ah, I got one. Two days ago, Dunn... Do you know Dunn? The young man with a high rank, that's in charge of the restricted zone. You know he used to be in a band, right?

I've had dealings with him.

Who's that?

Gilbert: You don't know? Huh, no big deal. He is just a young officer who once played in a band.

Gilbert: I'll go on. Two days ago, Dunn played his guitar as usual, and Officer Gepard came to the rear for a routine inspection... Guess what happened?

Gilbert: He forgot to put the guitar away that day!

Music isn't allowed in the military?

Gilbert: It's okay to entertain yourself in the restricted zone, but neglecting your responsibilities while on duty is a major offense.

Gilbert: There is a member in his squad who always takes the blame for him. His name is Zackery, I think? Anyway, that day, Dunn blamed it on Zackery again.

Gilbert: When Gepard saw the guitar, he asked, "Whose is this?" Right after speaking, Zackery stepped forward and said: "Sir, it's mine!"

Gilbert: You'll never guess what happened next! Gepard asked the boy to play something, right there on the spot!

Oh boy.

He got him there.

Gilbert: That's right!

Gilbert: It scared the heck out of Zackery. I heard that his legs were shaking uncontrollably. Hahaha!

Gilbert: So Dunn had to give himself up. Luckily, officer Gepard is a lenient man. He let it go.

Gilbert: I heard that they knew each other... Hmmm, who knows what's true!?

Gilbert: I've [sic] still waiting to hear back about my leave application. I heard there are a lotta people ahead of me in the line...

Gilbert: But pressure on the front line has receded a lot these days, so everyone just wants to take a beak and reunite with their families. I just have no idea how long it's gonna take until my turn...

What's changed on the front line?

Gilbert: Well, I heard that the monsters on the front line have dwindled recently... But that's just some people talking. I'm just a logistics guy, I've never set foot on the battleground before.

Gilbert: But the vibe here has really changed. Back when things were more serious, this restricted zone used to seem so solemn. But now, just look — everyone's spirits are completely different...
