Haliburton is an NPC on Penacony. He can be found in the Golden Hour, near the Clockie Statue at Clockie Plaza.

Haliburton is a watchmaker from Haliburton Watch Workshop, who has come to Penacony to meet "The Watchmaker" to sharpen their skills however "The Watchmaker" is nowhere to be found.

He is the apprentice of the former Haliburton who died in an explosion caused by a stellaron.

Haliburton: A great animator, a Dreamscape tycoon, father of Penacony... Everyone in this city has heard his name, and every single detail of this city is intertwined with him.

Haliburton: But it seems no one has ever seen him before... Just what kind of person is this "Watchmaker"?

I hear that he created Penacony.

Haliburton: That's the impression that most people have. There are very few records on the Watchmaker, but his achievements are known by all. You could say that Penacony's prosperity is mostly thanks to him.

Haliburton: I just find this kind of confusing... Why are the works of such a great "craftsman" nowhere to be seen in Penacony?

Perhaps "Watchmaker" is just a title?

Haliburton: Perhaps, but I still want to know the story behind this. I really wish I could meet this great fellow craftsman of mine in person.

Haliburton: It was curiosity that spurred me to make the long journey to Penacony. I truly wish that I could meet this great fellow craftsman in person.

Haliburton: Hm? You mean the Charmony Festival? That is a celebration that The Family arranges regularly, and it has nothing to do with the Watchmaker.

Haliburton: My apologies. I got carried away and never introduced myself... I am a watchmaker from the Haliburton Watch Workshop near Planet Screwllum.

Haliburton: In the last Amber Era, many of the rich and famous would employ me to create timepieces for them.

Haliburton: They desired a miracle that was all their own, so I began to introduce unusual materials into the crafting process: rare gemstones, meteorite fragments, and even inorganic life itself.

Haliburton: However, I felt that something was missing... All I desire in this life is to master the most exquisite craftsmanship techniques and create a "timepiece" like no other!

Haliburton: So, I accepted this invitation to come to Penacony because I wish to discuss the art of making timepieces with this land's most famous craftsman. I am certain that there must be new techniques in the cosmos that I have never been exposed to.

Haliburton: It is just a shame that this watchmaker is not willing to show his face... How am I supposed to meet with him?

The "Twelve Hours" of Penacony.

Haliburton: ...I see. The Dreamscape of the "Twelve Hours" form a clock face, and the Spheroids connect the twelve Dreamscapes as the clock hands dance between them... Perhaps Penacony itself is the Watchmaker's most meticulous and magnificent work!

Haliburton: Saying that, the way it is crafted had long since exceeded the concept of "clock"... Or perhaps "clocks" should never have been restricted to a set style. This is exactly the exquisite craftsmanship I was searching for!

Haliburton: A sharp question, (sir/ma'am). I, Haliburton, will always say as a craftsman: "My next work will be my proudest," but if you're asking for my personal opinion...

Haliburton knocks on his chest, where you hear a ticking noise.

Haliburton: By using the sound of a clock to mimic a heartbeat and gears to reshape the power of life, I did indeed create one work that has made me satisfied and proud... An inorganic heart.

Haliburton: Of course, it is still not entirely stable. I am still thinking of a plan to improve it.

Haliburton: I have always held hope... Hope that the skills of the Watchmaker could bring me new inspiration.

Tell me about your watchmaking.

Haliburton: Fine fragments of starquake can embellish watch faces and the Annihilation Gang's tempering fire can be used to forge a grandfather clock's pendulum. Depending on their properties, I use different materials to make the most fitting parts of a clock.

Haliburton: The greatest watchmakers would never set limits on themselves. Anything can become material for watchmaking.

Haliburton: At the same time, it is a job that requires a great amount of rationalism... Everything must be done with great caution. The previous Haliburton before me, my tutor, was destroyed in an explosion when he embedded a Stellaron into a watch face.

I'm so sorry...
