- Hekate: My lord, this is the frontline against the black tide. Advance no further.
Why are you here?
- Hekate: Black tide creations breached defenses. When our expedition came to aid... the carnage defied description.
- Hekate: We only managed to secure this position when guards and craftsmen rushed over from the marketplace to reinforce us.
- Hekate: The captain of the city gate... fell to the black tide, fulfilling his duty to the sky father. I've taken command of our forces here now.
- How's the situation?
- Hekate: We've driven back the black tide, but fresh creatures continue to attack in waves. We're holding, but worse than the attacks is how despair has begun to infect our ranks.
- Hekate: There's no time to rest or tend to our wounds. We watch our friends fall, unable even to retrieve their bodies. And still the black tide continues relentlessly—
- Hekate: The worst part? Sometimes you recognize the faces of your fallen comrades among these creatures.
- Hekate: Sorry... I shouldn't burden you with such grim thoughts.
- We just need to hold out until "Era Nova"...

- Hekate: We've sounded the call to arms. With any luck, reinforcements will arrive soon and we might finally have a moment to breathe.

- Hekate: It's been a while, (Trailblazer). Allow me to make introductions. These lovely ladies are Old Fabio's daughters. This is Possephone from Aunt Demetria's family. And this distinguished warrior is the Furiae Archer from Castrum Kremnos.

- Cynane: Well now, you really know how to keep up your end of a conversation.
- Looks like everyone here already knows each other.
- Furiae Archer: You seem... familiar. I feel as though we've met, but I cannot place when or where.
- Artakama: So you two know each other, too? That makes a party even more necessary! Just leave it to us sisters. We'll keep the music playing, the dancing going, and the ambrosia flowing until everyone's had their fill of fun!
- Cynane: If that's not your style, Miss Archer, we've got some small-scale athletic competitions that might be more to your liking!
- Furiae Archer: My armor was made for battle. If I accidentally harm someone participating...
- Artakama: Don't worry about that! We Helkolithists are tough as nails, and so are the athletes!
