Aside from the Simulated Universe, Screwllum has also created a new branch to the project. As the project's first standalone issue, the extrapolation this time concerns the "human world" beneath the stars.

Exploration Process

Rice Dumpling: The exploration of the Divergent Universe is somewhat similar to the Simulated Universe.

In the Divergent Universe, Trailblazers need to clear 13 domains to complete their exploration run.

Among these, domains 1 to 4 are considered the First Plane, 5 to 9 are the Second Plane, 10 to 13 are the Third Plane.

At the end of each domain, a boss will be waiting to face the Trailblazer.

Synchronicity Level

Trailblazers will obtain Synchronicity Points while exploring the Divergent Universe and increase their Synchronicity Level.

After reaching the corresponding Synchronicity Level, Trailblazers can claim the equivalent rewards.

Trailblazers can also take note of the countdown in the interface. When the countdown ends, the Synchronicity Level's Level Cap and rewards will be expanded.

Ordinary and Cyclical Extrapolation

Trash Cake: Ordinary Extrapolations are permanent! Cyclical Extrapolations are periodic!

Ordinary Extrapolation has five difficulties. After clearing these five difficulties, you can use the Threshold Protocol system to further increase the difficulty.

Special gameplay content will be updated weekly in Cyclical Extrapolations. First-time clearances every week will yield bonus rewards.

Ice Cake: For example, you getting a pile of Curios at the start of a game!

In Cyclical Extrapolation, you can choose the difficulty and Threshold Protocols levels that have been unlocked in Ordinary Extrapolation.
Completing both Ordinary Extrapolation and Cyclical Extrapolation in the Divergent Universe will also grant Simulated Universe points.

Equation

Trash Cake: Next up is my favorite! It is the core function of the Divergent Universe! Equations!

Equations are one of the most important gameplay aspects for Divergent Universe.
Equations can provide even stronger buffs compared to a single Blessing.

But the buffs provided by Equations can only be activated when certain conditions are met.
If you want to activate an Equation, you need to obtain a sufficient number of Blessings from the specified Path.

Using the Sin Thirster Equation as an example, to activate this Equation's buff, you need to have at least 3 Nihility Blessings and 2 The Hunt Blessings.

As long as your Blessings meet the requirements, you can simultaneously activate multiple Equations at once.

Rice Dumpling: Actively obtaining and combining Equations will let your Divergent Universe journey grow smoother.

Weighted Curio

Trash Cake: Why are there shiny golden Curios? What were they called... Weighted Curios, or something?

Weighted Curios are a unique type of Curio in the Divergent Universe

Compared to regular Curios, they are harder to obtain, but their effects are far more potent as well.

Additionally, when you have a Weighted Curio, the characters that are boosted by said Weighted Curio will also have special tags placed upon them in the character list.

Freely Use the Team Lineup Function

In the Divergent Universe, you can freely switch characters at any time while exploring.

This comes at no cost, and no restrictions.

Trailblazers can assign whatever characters you need on your team based on the present situation.

Ice Cake: Such as... When you are hunting Trotters! Smashing pots! Challenging bosses!

Arithmetic Mapping System

Ice Cake: But though it's great to be able to edit your lineup at any time... It seems that many of the characters possessed by the Trailblazer are under-leveled.
Rice Dumpling: Not to worry, though. Mr. Screwllum came up with an [sic] brand-new system: Arithmetic Mapping!

In the Divergent Universe, the levels of characters, Light Cones, Traces, and Relics will be enhanced under certain conditions.

Simply put, if you have not built a character to match the current Equilibrium Level, they will experience a corresponding power enhancement in the Divergent Universe.

Ice Cake: Characters or Light Cones under-leveled? Let the Arithmetic Mapping help you max them out!
Trash Cake: No Light Cones? Arithmetic Mapping will come to provide!
Ice Cake: Haven't leveled or unlocked your Traces? Arithmetic Mapping will help you level and unlock them temporarily!
Trash Cake: No Relics or only aided by under-leveled Relics? Arithmetic Mapping will get you dressed right for the duration!

Workbench of Creation

In certain domains for the Divergent Universe, there are Workbenches of Creation controlled by Ruan Mei.

In the Workbench of Creation, Trailblazers can consume Cosmic Fragments to reset their current Equations and Blessings, or consume Heat to enhance their current Blessings.

Ice Cake: Don't like your current Equations? Unable to activate your current Equations with the Blessing you have? Come find us and overwrite your fate! It's very convenient!

I heard that for Workbenches of Creation in certain special domains, you can also transmute existing Curios into higher leveled Curios or reset Weighted Curios!

Inspiration Circuit

Ice Cake: Speaking of the Simulated Universe, we have to mention the Ability Tree!
Trash Cake: That's right! Our Divergent Universe has its own Ability Tree!

Compared to previous Ability Trees, while exploring the Divergent Universe, Trailblazers can get Inspiration.

Inspiration can activate Inspiration Circuits, and allow you to gain additional buffs.

What is different from before is that Trailblazers can choose to reset their Inspiration Circuits and recover all the Inspiration they spent before reselecting the buffs they wish to activate.

Probability Museum

Rice Dumpling: The entrance to the Divergent Universe is found on the Radiant Feldspar. It has been designed to enrich the decor of the ship. Mr. Screwllum has also installed the Probability Museum.

Trash Cake: Does it not bother you to see all these empty bases across the Feldspar?

Ice Cake: There are many ways to increase your collection! Place them in the Probability Museum to gain additional buffs!

The Probability Gallery will showcase the Curios, Blessings, and Equations that appear in the Divergent Universe.

The Stable Computing Array includes a series of objectives related to the Divergent Universe. Complete these goals will earn you corresponding rewards.

Note: The Probability Museum and Stable Computing Array both have countdown timers as well. When they conclude, the rewards and content will also expand.

Save Files and Planar Ornament Extraction

Rice Dumpling: The Planar Ornament Extraction system is also a major point> I will explain this matter in detail next.

Trailblazers can use the Save File saved during the completion of the Divergent Universe to directly engage in Boss Challenge and quickly obtain Planar Ornaments.

During both the Ordinary Extrapolation and Cyclical Extrapolation in the Divergent Universe, players can save their completion data as a Save File.

Save Files will only preserve data related to Curios, Blessings, and Equations. It will not save the team you had while clearing stages.

Hence, during Boss Challenges, players can freely change their team lineup and utilize 1 support character to assist in battle.

Arithmetic Mapping system will not take effect in Boss Challenges sourced from Planar Ornaments.
