Kelok is an NPC on Amphoreus, located in "Eternal Holy City" Okhema and Beyond Time: An Eternal Page. He disappears from the overworld upon completion of Adventure Mission Contradiction and its related post-mission dialogue. Later, he will reappear in "Lightless Chapel" Dawncloud upon completion of Adventure Mission Spear and Shield A-Clang.
Profile
Kelok is a shieldmaking merchant who claims that his shields have been blessed by the Titan Georios and are unbreakable. In reality, the quality of his shields is vastly inferior to even ordinary shields, which the Trailblazer and Chartonus reveal during the events of Contradiction. After he and his fellow counterfeit merchant Kilik are taken into custody, they are put on trial but manage to escape prison time with one vote, only paying a fine. The incident causes Kelok to collaborate with Kilik to produce even more counterfeit goods.
During the events of Spear and Shield A-Clang, Kelok and Kilik are trapped by Black Tide Creatures in a temple opposite of Krateros' position. Kelok believes that they are about to die, but a timely intervention by the Trailblazer and Glykon save them from such a fate. Knowing the threat posed by the creatures, the merchants rush to grab the rest of their stock. When they arrive, they are badly beaten by the creatures and presumably die, only to feign death. Though the quality of their goods are questionable, the guards accept them nonetheless.
