Leonard: Hey friend! I'm so happy to see you!

How have things been?

Leonard: Eh. The higher-ups want me to think about the network security of the space station in detail, so I've decided to stop taking random gigs in the foreseeable future and focus on the things that are truly important.

Why haven't I seen you before?

Leonard: Oh, that's the special nature of my position. If I'm not maintaining machines in the terminal room, I'll be in someone's workstation checking up on their terminal. Sometimes I have to go outside for other jobs, too.

Leonard: There are only a few of us in the Maintenance Department to maintain the entire space station. We've really got a lot on our plate.

What do you do before this?

Leonard: Before this? I've always been an engineer. I used to work for an Interastral Peace Corporation branch and made rank P24.

Leonard: I don't really have any opinion of the IPC, only that it was too large. An entry-level employee like me could spend half my life there without bumping into the bigwigs.

Leonard: But the space station is different — you can hardly escape the Lead Researcher Asta. If you're lucky, you can even get your ears chewed off by Madam Herta — she's a member of the Genius Society!

About Cosmic Warfare...

Leonard: Huh? Did you hear about it from Mr. Screwllum? You weren't here when it happened.

Did you face off with Silver Wolf?

Leonard: Depends on how you define "face off"... I told you when we first met that I tried tracking the Stellaron Hunters after they left the space station, but ended up in Silver Wolf's trap.

Leonard: She reverse-hacked into my device and sent a bunch of spam messages to people in my name, asking them to play a video game called Cosmic Warfare.

Leonard: ...Just, it's an embarrassing memory. Just forget about it.

Why's it called Cosmic Warfare?

Leonard: I didn't understand as well, in the beginning. This game was usually installed in old display terminals on those antique interstellar vessels. Ugh... The type of game only an idle drunk miner could love.

Leonard: After reading into it a little, I found out there's a collector looking for a rare strategy for this game, and the reward is a Tyranid fighter jet, eventually won by someone anonymous — that must be Silver Wolf.

Leonard: I think she probably doesn't have many friends. Cosmic Warfare is a multiplayer collaborative game, so she couldn't play the game on her own, so she looked for a bunch of "helpers" in this way.

How did that go?

Leonard: Oh, nowhere. I've done my best to quarantine the intruder's viral influence to the monitoring room. It didn't spread outside, but that's all I could do...

Leonard: I wrote a script to block off those spam messages day and night. It's a little primitive, but very effective.

Leonard: In the end, Silver Wolf seemed to have had enough fun and shut the game down. That was the end of that saga. What I didn't know is that Madam Herta and she had already set up the chess board for the next game.

I want to ask about something else...

Leonard: Okay. I should be stationed here in the near future. Come find me if you need anything!

Leonard: Huge success, my friend! The plan entered the next phase. It will be launched at a later date when everything is set up. As for the time... heh, it's a secret. It works best when it's least expected.

Leonard: If you want to run the test again, I can arrange it for you.

Leonard: No problem, I'll set up the location now!
