Mukogaoka: It's just like what the guide said. It's totally worth the time...

Mukogaoka: As expected from Aurum Alley. Even its air is full of the scents of ordinary life.

Guide? What guide?

Mukogaoka: The tourist guide, of course. "Get to Know the Real Luofu in 30 Days." That's the one I got. It might not be as popular as the other Luofu sightseeing guides, but I think it's the most practical one.

Is Aurum Alley really that famous?

Mukogaoka: It's relatively famous, but not by that much, and especially not for the superficial kids who only care about shopping and taking photos. However, it's a great attraction among seasoned travelers like us.

Mukogaoka: Sure, I'm here to enjoy myself, but I'm different from those superficial tourists. I'm not interested in the Starskiff Haven shops that only pander to visitors.

Mukogaoka: This isn't my first trip to Xianzhou. This time, I came only to experience the most authentic Luofu customs and culture.

Aren't you a tourist, too?

Mukogaoka: There are all sorts of tourists, and I think of myself as a seasoned one. I've written many guides and reviews over the years, and I even got recognized as an honorary member online. You can't even buy that kind of recognition with money, you know?

How could one experience local customs and culture?

Mukogaoka: It's not that hard. All you need is some time and dedication. Make sure to talk to the locals and eat at their favorite restaurants. And if you're lucky, attend local festivals and carnivals.

Mukogaoka: Walk around more, ask more questions, and join in on the fun. Don't hunker down in hotels and souvenir shops all day. And, most importantly, respect local culture. A good traveler is always open-minded!

Mukogaoka: Stores... Well, there are lots of stores in Strskiff Haven, but many of them target tourists. I'm afraid you won't find the best deals there.

Mukogaoka: Personally, I'd recommended the stores in Aurum Alley. For example, Spices Supreme is a restaurant only frequented by the locals. I strongly recommend you to try the unique and affordable dishes there.

What souvenirs should I buy on my Xianzhou trip?

Mukogaoka: Souvenirs... Well, my suggestion would be "mung bean soda." Take it back to your friends and relatives, and make sure they try it...

Mukogaoka: Once they've tried it, they won't be pestering you for souvenirs anymore, guaranteed. I mean, came on, you're on a trip. Just relax and stop worrying about the "social obligations" back home.

What's so special about Aurum Alley?

Mukogaoka: Well, how should I put it... Aurum Alley is frequented by locals. I swear some store owners and staff even know each other. Sure, it doesn't have as many tourists as Starskiff Haven, and looks pretty ordinary at first glance.

Mukogaoka: But it's got an indescribable vibe... Like the feeling of "ordinary life and everyday neighbors" in an old alley, you know?
