"Multiverse Vistas" Annual Creator Competition is a contest event that began in Version 1.0.

Amidst a galaxy of twinkling stars, the Express soars into the unknown! The very first Honkai: Star Rail creators' competition — "Multiverse Vistas", is about to begin. The competition features 4 categories (art, music, video, and cosplay), a panel of renowned content creators from across the globe as judges, and the incredible imagination and creativity of our Trailblazers! This competition offers rich rewards for the winners, don't miss your chance to enter!

Competition Rules

1. The organizer and judges will collectively judge the submitted works throughout the voting period (from the end of the submission period to the day the winners are announced). The judging criteria are based on the work's creativity, expressiveness, level of completion, and the difficulty involved in producing the work.
2. All submissions that adhere to the competition rules are eligible for the Popularity Award. Eligible submissions will be displayed in the event website's "Outstanding Works" section.
3. The 5 participants in each category who have received the most votes by the end of the voting period will receive a Popularity Award (for a total of 20 participants across all categories). An extra 10 participants from all eligible submissions will be randomly selected to receive a Lucky Award.
4. Should any HoYoverse Accounts that participated in the voting process demonstrate actions that influenced the fairness of the vote (such as spamming votes, hacking other accounts, etc), the organizer reserves the right to disqualify the account's votes and will delete all votes cast by the account.
5. If you have any inquiries regarding the outcomes of the judging, you can email honkaistarrail_events@hoyoverse.com while the winners are displayed on the event web page. We are unable to address any concerns after that period (except for cases where copyright breaches and other illegal activities are involved).
6. One participant may receive multiple rewards for multiple submissions. However, one submission cannot receive more than one award (except the Popularity Award), and will only be granted the highest Award it has received. The Lucky Award is rewarded to participants and not to individual submissions.
7. AI-generated images, videos, and music are ineligible for the contest.

Reward Distribution

1. This event is not available to residents of the following regions: Quebec (Canada), Pennsylvania (USA), Alaska (USA), Arizona (USA), and any other states or territories where such events are clearly prohibited by law.
2. Participants must already be legally considered as an adult in their resident state or territory when the submission is made. Alternatively, minors should only submit for the event with permission from their guardian(s).
3. Please head to the event webpage to claim participation rewards. Some virtual rewards will be sent out via in-game mail after the event's conclusion to accounts on Honkai: Star Rail's Asia, TW/HK/MO, Europe, and America servers. The rewards will be sent by default to the Honkai: Star Rail AID associated with the HoYoLAB Account through which the submission was made. If you need the rewards to be sent to a different HoYoLAB account, or if your HoYoLAB account does not have a Honkai: Star Rail game account associated, please let us know at honkaistarrail_events@hoyoverse.com while the winners are displayed. The distribution of participation rewards will end after the results are announced.
4. Awardees must provide their proof of identity as well as a bank account that supports receiving international money transfers to receive the cash prize. If the aforementioned prizes cannot be purchased for/delivered to/received by certain regions, prizes of similar market value will be issued instead.
5. The awardees are to be responsible for personal taxation declarations according to the tax laws in the state or territory they reside in. Please refer to the laws and regulations regarding taxation in your state or territory. Should transaction fees occur during international money transfers, this fee will be equally shared between the organizer and the awardee. We thank you for your support and understanding.
6. All physical character goods rewards will feature a randomly selected character from the game. The images on the event introduction page are for reference only.

Participation Rules

1. The submitted work must be the participant's original work, and the participant must hold the right to submit the work. Please note that, though the organizer will not check whether the submitted works breached copyright laws, the organizer will disqualify the work should the submission be deemed to have or may have breached copyright laws. Participants can provide proof of their copyright in a timely manner to mitigate this decision.
2. Works produced as a collaboration should include at the time of submission details of the creative team behind the work. Collaborative works may only be submitted once through one participant, and cannot be submitted multiple times. Should the collaborative work win a prize, the prize will be sent to the submitting participant.
3. Should any of the following criteria be applicable to a submission or a participant, the organizer reserves the right to immediately disqualify them from the competition:
   1. The submitted work breaches the intellectual copyright and any other legal rights of a third party, including but not restricted to illegally copying or stealing intellectual property, or any actions that breach copyright or trademark laws. The submitted work contains content that breaches the legal rights of a third party such as portrait rights, right of personal name, or business secrets. In such cases, the organizer reserves the right to pursue legal actions from the corresponding participant, including but not limited to seeking compensation from the participant regarding losses incurred by the event organizer and its associated companies as a result of legal procedures.
   2. The submitted work contains inappropriate content (such as content that is political, religiously discriminatory, racist, sexist, maliciously insulting, offensive, sexual, or any other content that is highly controversial), or content that can harm the public reputation of the Honkai: Star Rail game or the event organizer (including its associated companies and their products), or content that includes projects apart from the Honkai: Star Rail game, or content that breaches any laws or government regulations, or content that is contrary to societal expectations and general morality.
   3. The participant has acted in a way that damages the legal rights (including but not limited to public reputation) of the Honkai: Star Rail game and/or the event organizer (including its associated companies and their products), such as publicizing false information concerning the Honkai: Star Rail game and/or the event organizer (including its associated companies and their products).
   4. The participant has commercialized or granted legal rights to third parties to commercialize the submitted work without written consent from the event organizer.
   5. The participant provides false or invalid information.
   6. The participant has acted in any way that breaches the event rules as declared by the event organizer, interrupts the normal process of this event (such as influencing the fairness of the event), or any other actions that negatively impact this event.
4. Once a work has been submitted, it is considered that the participant has accepted the rules of this event. Should a participant breach the event rules, the organizer reserves the right to immediately disqualify the participant.
5. Submissions for each category must be carried out via the corresponding category in the designated event page on HoYoLAB.
6. Submitted works for any category can be publicized on other platforms before submission, but they will be only considered for the event once they have been submitted at the HoYoLAB designated event page as per the aforementioned steps. Moreover, standard posting in HoYoLAB is not considered as a submission for this event
7. Submitted works for all categories should not have been made public before May 13th, 2023.
8. Please make sure your submitted work adheres to the rules of the HoYoLAB community. Your submission may be deleted by the moderators otherwise. If you would like to dispute a deletion, please raise your dispute with honkaistarrail_events@hoyoverse.com.
9. Editing the submission post may disqualify the submission from the event. Should there be a need to make edits, please contact honkaistarrail_events@hoyoverse.com in advance. Should participants delete the post containing the submission, it will be regarded as forfeiting this work's eligibility in the event.
10. One work cannot be submitted to multiple categories. For example, should a music-related video be submitted for the music category and passes review, it cannot be submitted again for the video category.
11. By submitting a work, the author agrees to permanently authorize the event organizer and its associated companies with non-exclusive global rights for free. 12. Matters not covered in the event rules are still subject to Honkai: Star Rail's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, as well as HoYoLAB's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and community rules.

Visual Arts Category

Guide

1. You may submit works of the two following types:
   1. Visual artworks using two or more colors, including character portraits, key visuals, background art, etc. Monochrome line art or rough sketches are not accepted.
   2. Comic/manga artworks with no coloring restrictions, including multi-paneled comics, vertical scrolls (webtoons), etc. Chibi art is accepted, and characters may have spoken lines based on the comic's content. Standalone emoji packs and stickers are not accepted.
2. The work must be submitted in an image format. The submitted work must include elements of Honkai: Star Rail. All themes and styles are welcome.
3. Submission:
   1. Please click the "Image" button on the top right corner of the event page and submit your work to the competition with the #MultiverseVistas hashtag.
   2. Write the title of your work in the title section, and add a description in the content section to help others understand your creation.
4. In addition to the final product, you must also upload pictures of your creation process (drafts) as evidence.

Music Category

Guide

1. You may submit works of the following two types:
   1. Covers of in-game music (such as OSTs, in-game BGM, or other scores already publicly available), including instrumental covers, remixes, vocal covers with or without changes to the lyrics etc. The work must be longer than 60 seconds.
   2. Create complete original works (including songs and lyrics) based on characters or plot. The work must be longer than 60 seconds.
2. The submitted work must be the author's original work. Alternatively, the composer or lyricist must hold full rights to the work.
3. The work must be submitted in a video format. The video content is not limited and can include recordings of live performances, screen recordings of audio-visual digital projects, original music and animation, and more. The submitted work must include elements of Honkai: Star Rail. All themes and styles are welcome.
4. Submission:
   1. Your work must first be uploaded on YouTube. Please select "Game" as your video category, then select "Honkai: Star Rail." In the video description, please include the words "This work is a submission for the 2023 Honkai: Star Rail creator competition."
   2. Please click the "Video" button on the top right corner of the event page, paste your work's YouTube link, and submit your work to the competition with the #MultiverseVistas hashtag.
   3. Write the title of your work in the title section, and add a description in the content section to help others understand your creation.

Video Category

Guide

1. Submitted works must be videos longer than 30 seconds based on the game, including edits of gameplay and in-game cutscenes, MMDs, funny videos, hand-drawn animations, other animations, etc.
2. Works that focus on cosplay should be submitted to the Cosplay category. Works that focus on music should be submitted to the Music category. Submitting works into the incorrect category will result in your submission not being evaluated. Each work may only be submitted to one category.
3. The work must be submitted in a video format. The submitted work must include elements of Honkai: Star Rail. All themes and styles are welcome.
4. Submission:
   1. Your work must first be uploaded on YouTube. Please select "Game" as your video category, then select "Honkai: Star Rail." In the video description, please include the words "This work is a submission for the 2023 Honkai: Star Rail creator competition."

Works must feature actual cosplayers wearing either original costumes, or costumes consisting partially or wholly of pieces of pre-existing clothing, props, or accessories that have been modified or re-purposed. The use of special effects and post-processing is permitted.
2. The work can be submitted in an image or video format. The submitted work must include elements of Honkai: Star Rail. All themes and styles are welcome.
