Dialogue

Get the monster's armor

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

Scott refuses to give you the reward he promised, but you insist. In the end, he gives you part of it, but if you want to get the rest, you need to do one more thing for him. You're not happy about it, but for the reward's sake, you agree to this condition.
(Approach the Everwinter Shadewalker)
(Trailblazer): (Looks like this is the armor that Scott wants.)
(Trailblazer): (Better make this quick.)

(Commence battle against Everwinter Shadewalker)

Give the armor to Scott

UI Adventure Mission Step Description

You successfully acquire the armor of a Fragmentum monster. It stinks, but all you can think of right now is to return to the Fight Club and ask Scott for the money. When you finally receive the whole reward, you have a strange feeling that there's something wrong with the armor...
(Immediately after defeating Everwinter Shadewalker)
(Trailblazer): (Finally got this dirty armor. It's time to go back and ask Scott for the final payment...)
(Obtained Fragmentum Monster Armor Fragmentum Monster Armor)

(Talk to Scott)
Icon Dialogue Quest Here's your armor.
Scott: That's it, that's it! Wow, that texture!
(Submit Fragmentum Monster Armor Fragmentum Monster Armor)
Scott: You had an annoying attitude but you still got the job done... I was right about you, ah—haha!
Scott: Here's the rest of your money like promised. Scott is always true to his word. If we can get a chance in the future, then come and talk business with me. We can help each other out— muhahaha!
Icon Dialogue Arrow What do you plan to do with the monster armor?
Scott: To wear it of course, or what? Leave it around as a house decor?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Do you have a hobby of collecting armor?
Scott: Hey, I only have a hobby of making money.
Scott: Armor is supposed to be worn. As long as someone's wearing it, then I can make money.
Icon Dialogue Arrow It'll need a belt to serve as a Tokusatsu costume.
Scott: Tokusatsu? What's that?
Scott: This armor is to be worn.
Scott: Hey, since you helped me, I'll let you in on my plan. I'm going to have a boxer dress up as a monster to fight in the ring.
Scott: I've already thought up a name: "Monster Armor." Tickets will definitely be sold out by then, and the boxing arena will be full!
Scott: Hahaha, what do you think? In all of the Underworld, only Scott can come up with such an ingenious idea!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Isn't it unsuitable for people to wear, though?
Scott: What's unsuitable? Oh, you mean the size of this armor? It does look a little big, so just take it to the blacksmith and get it resized.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Isn't it disgusting to wear stuff ripped off monsters?
Scott: It's not like I'm gonna wear it myself, so why does it need to be clean?
Icon Dialogue Arrow I still don't think people should wear it.
Scott: You're right, but it's none of my business.
Scott: All that whining is hard on the ears.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Don't come to me if something goes wrong.
Scott: I know my men. What could go wrong?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Hey, if you don't wanna listen, that's fine...
Scott: Hey, I know my boys, no need for you to get all worked up for nothing.
Scott: Hey hey, you've done your part of the job, so shut up and take your money! All this jibber-jabber is just you trying to squeeze me for more. Don't think I don't know what's on your mind!
Scott: Scott is no cruel boss, you know. Since you've really helped me, and proven yourself capable, I'll give you a little extra "house special."
Scott: Next time you come around, if you see Dr. Dig here, get him to do a head count and squeeze you into a challenge round or something like that. That way, you won't need to line up for tickets.
Scott: Are we good now? Now get out of my face with your money! Hmmmm... so now... which poor fool should try this armor on...

Post-Mission

(Optional: Approach Kluzer in the Fight Club, prior to starting Adventure Mission Silent yet Shining)
(Trailblazer): (The one in armor over there... Scott found a boxer for that already?)

(Optional: Talk to Kluzer)
Kluzer: Who are you? What do you want?
Icon Dialogue Arrow So you're the one Scott picked?
Kluzer: More or less. Scott got a whole bunch of boxers to try out the armor and I was the best fit.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Did Scott tell you about the armor?
Kluzer: A little, like asking me to put on the armor and become a monster from the Fragmentum or something.
Kluzer: Anything else? Don't bother me if it's nothing urgent, I'm still getting used to this armor...
Icon Dialogue Talk It's from the Fragmentum. Be careful.
Kluzer: ...Everything in the Fragmentum is dangerous. I'm used to it.
Kluzer: As long as it fits and pays, no biggie right now.
Icon Dialogue Talk How long have you been wearing this armor?
Kluzer: Not long, a game or two.
Icon Dialogue Talk Audience actually buy it?
Kluzer: Quite a lot actually, at least for now. Audiences are just looking for something new, as is typical.
Icon Dialogue Talk Any adverse reactions after wearing it?
Kluzer: Adverse reactions? Don't think so. It's just not very breathable and not easy to walk around with in the ring.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I'll leave you to it.
Kluzer: The arm plates seem to be a little loose. Forget, I'll just fix it myself...

(Optional: Talk to the audience member)
Indifferent Audience: I've already bought a season pass so that I don't have to deal with scalpers.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Are you a fan of Monster Armor?
Indifferent Audience: Fan? What fan? It's just games, don't drag yourself too deep into it...
Indifferent Audience: But I have to admit, it's quite interesting to watch this monster punch, and it's no wonder this many people are cheering for him.
Indifferent Audience: Good thing I bought the season pass early, and I can go directly to the VIP seat on the second floor without having to fight for tickets with these guys...

(Optional: Talk to the audience members)
New Audience: Did you come to see Monster Armor too? It's so hard to get tickets for his matches.
Icon Dialogue Arrow You're here for Monster Armor?
New Audience: Errrr, not specifically, but I heard he's quite something... Errr... I don't know.
New Audience: People are just here for some fun. Nobody will actually like Monster Armor, right?
New Audience: By the way... How many matches are there for Monster Armor after this? Why is the price getting higher and higher...

(Optional: Talk to the two audience members)
Boxing Match Fan: Did you watch the last match? What did you think about Monster Armor knocking the brains out of the ex-champ?
Angry Audience: Monster Armor's only got a few wins. Look at you all worked up!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Are you here to see Monster Armor?
Boxing Match Fan: Heck yeah, I'm a Monster Armor fan! I think his style is very wild and imposing, and he's been on a roll lately. That boy's got a future!
Angry Audience: Come on, just because he did alright in the last game, that doesn't make him a future rock star.
Boxing Match Fan: What do you mean? Monster Armor obviously has what it takes. He's far better than those pretentious and useless old farts from before.
Angry Audience: The next opponent is a five-time champion. Do you know what it means to be a champ?
Boxing Match Fan: Yeah five-time champ my butt. He'll be kneeling to Monster Armor and begging for mercy.
Angry Audience: Just you wait till the champ has recovered, you'll know what real brutality looks like.
Boxing Match Fan: I'm going to get the tickets for the next few games, and wait to see my Monster Armor win the championship!
Angry Audience: Shush, I'm trying to remember the details of the last championship, but you're disrupting my train of thought!
