Dialogue

Icon Dialogue Question Listen
(First interaction)
Elderly Scholar: That is precisely why your plan is pure nonsense, these requirements simply cannot be met...
Delusionist: How can I... Um, we are discussing formal affairs, we do not need unnecessary interference.
Investor: Wait, I know this person, (H—He/Sh—She) is the savior of Belobog!
Manager: Oh! You're the famous (Trailblazer)?
Manager: This is perfect! We've got a few things here that we just can't settle, we need your opinion.
Manager: I'm sure you know, the biggest challenge facing Belobog right now is repairing this Engine of Creation. However, none of us can seem to agree on how to move this project forward.
Manager: We've all got our different plans at the moment, and none of us can convince the others.
Manager: You've been to so many places, I'm sure you must be experienced and knowledgeable. We will listen to your insights.
Manager: So, we're going to put our ideas together, and you can select the plan you feel the most appropriate... Of course, if you have your own ideas, you can suggest them, too.
Manager: No one has any objections, do they?
Crowd: No!
(Continue on to dialogue options below)

(Subsequent interactions)
Manager: You're back! Do you have time to make a decision now?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Let me see your plans.
Manager: Great, let's begin.
Manager: Alright, the first agenda item: What should the Engine of Creation have installed on its arms?
Icon Dialogue Arrow A hand with five fingers.
Elderly Scholar: If a robot like this has five fingers like a human, it can hold various kinds of equipment which will allow it to be a suitable apparatus for complex tasks.
Delusionist: But how will the five fingers be operated? Surely not with a single joystick? The driver will end up going insane!
Elderly Scholar: Don't forget that the IPC said that they will share their technology with us. Their automatons must have solved this issue a long time ago.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Elderly Scholar: A wise decision! I will go to an IPC worker and ask them for advice.
Delusionist: Humph, let's hope the IPC is feeling generous.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow An arm with a clawed hand.
Elderly Scholar: This kind of hand would consist of an upper and lower part, like a giant pincer. It would only be able to complete simple acts like grabbing and lifting. It would not be suited for intricate tasks.
Manager: However, you wouldn't have to read an encyclopedia-sized instruction manual to know what buttons to press to control whatever.
Manager: In future reconstruction work, the number and scale of the Engines of Creation will be of utmost importance. With this design, the pressure on training the operators will be greatly relieved.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Manager: Very good. Now we can relax the recruitment criteria for operators slightly.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow A tree-felling machine gun.
Investor: Why would you need a machine gun for tree-felling?
Delusionist: You think sawing them down one-by-one is better than just using a gun?
Delusionist: A machine gun like this is both a weapon and a tool. With one spray of this gun, an entire forest becomes timber... Reconstruction naturally needs timber.
Manager: And where will Belobog be getting these trees from?
Delusionist: ...There will be trees here in the future.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Delusionist: Look, look! (Trailblazer) agrees! I knew my plan could work! The Engine of Creation is about to become a whole new version of itself!
Elderly Scholar: Ahhh...
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow A mining drill.
Elderly Scholar: This is a spiral-shaped metal drill bit, it can be used to collect underground Geomarrow and other ores, as well as dig tunnels to allow for passage through the mountains.
Investor: That's right! With this, we can create more mines and railways, bringing all this planet's resources straight into our hands.
Investor: Whether we end up selling them to the IPC or using them ourselves, we will end up far richer than we are now!
Manager: But there will come a day when our resources are exhausted, will there not?
Investor: That's a problem for who knows when! We should worry about the present for now.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Investor: I knew you'd have good taste, nameless wanderer of the universe.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow A firework cannon.
Delusionist: What... is that?
Elderly Scholar: I heard that in the Old World, people would place flower petals into a pressurized vessel and blow them up at festivals.
Elderly Scholar: Then, multicolored debris would dance up into the sky, like snow or stars.
Investor: That sounds quite romantic...
Delusionist: You think? What could that be used for?
Investor: To liven up the party at a celebration, of course! Why can't the Engine of Creation be a tool for recreation and fun? In times like this, hope is the most important thing to us all.
Manager: You're not... entirely wrong.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Investor: I knew you saw things differently, Trailblazer. Let's prepare a celebration!
Manager: Hold on, we haven't finished discussing the plans.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Manager: Let's look at the next item on the agenda: What should the Engine of Creation have installed on its lower body?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Caterpillar tracks.
Elderly Scholar: An old and traditional design that not only allows it to perform well off-road, it can also lower the body's center of gravity to prevent rollover and backwards lean when using power.
Elderly Scholar: Considering the heavy labor that the Engine of Creation will likely be taking on, I believe that this plan is most suitable.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Manager: We actually have no objections to this idea.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow Two legs.
Manager: Considering that the Engine of Creation once walked on two legs, I think we should recreate it according to the original design.
Manager: Other plans will cost extra expenses and may even lead to unforeseen problems.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Elderly Scholar: A safe choice, but it is indeed unlikely to cause problems.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow An anti-grav engine.
Delusionist: I believe there is a fatal flaw in traditional methods of movement: They cannot overcome mountains and valleys.
Delusionist: One thing that this planet has in excess is extreme terrain. As soon as it reaches an area that traditional methods of traversal are insufficient, the Engine of Creation will be stopped in its tracks.
Delusionist: So, I plan to let the Engine of Creation take to the sky! Don't tell me it cannot be done, the IPC definitely has this technology! As long as they are willing to help, any problem can be solved!
Investor: Do they really have that...?
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Delusionist: Wonderful! When this is all over, our road ahead will lead straight to the stars!
Manager: It's best not to crave the future so deeply, or you will only suffer the present.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow Four legs.
Investor: Uhh, I actually don't have any real thoughts about this, I just thought they would look like mini automatons with four legs... How cute would that be?
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Investor: Wow, you... you agree with me?
Delusionist: Looks like the "Automaton of Creation" would make a pretty fitting name.
Investor: Are you serious...?
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow A propeller.
Investor: That's... Our entire planet is land, why would you suggest that?
Elderly Scholar: Once the ice and snow melts, Jarilo-VI could become an oceanic world.
Delusionist: I saw this on the armillary sphere before, this planet did indeed have oceans at one point in the past. Our ancestors once traveled the world on ships. I wonder when it will be our turn to do the same.
Investor: Wow, you mean that you've already begun considering life hundreds of years in the future, (Trailblazer)... Are you really that forward-thinking!?
Delusionist: Why do you never praise me for being forward-thinking!?
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Manager: Indeed, we cannot be blinded by the present and not consider the future at all.
Manager: Thank you, (Trailblazer), you've made me regain my initial hopes for the Pillars of Creation project.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Manager: The next item on the agenda is... What kind of auxiliary equipment should the Engines of Creation have installed on their backs?
Icon Dialogue Arrow An automaton processing factory.
Elderly Scholar: When that time comes, automatons will no longer need weapons. They will join in with labor and live alongside us as not warriors, but workers.
Elderly Scholar: If the Engines of Creation were able to take on the work of automaton assembly, we could use them as mobile bases that could provide support to mines or other production facilities at any time.
Manager: But if we will have Engines of Creation creating automatons by themselves, that will bring a lot of extra expenses, surely...
Elderly Scholar: Let's see what (Trailblazer) decides.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Manager: Hmm... if that's the case, I'll have to contact the mines and have them prepare more ore.
Investor: The money will be worth it though, don't you think?
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow A tower crane.
Manager: Thinking of the future, we will likely need to repair more Engines of Creation in the future... I believe that the first finished product should serve as the vanguard in this.
Manager: If we equip a powerful tower crane, it will be able to assist us with repairing other machines and form a "fortification team" made up of Engines of Creation.
Manager: What's more, Belobog cannot be our only home. Once the planet's environment has recovered, we will need to create other cities. When that time comes, an Engine of Creation equipped with a tower crane is sure to be a huge help.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Elderly Scholar: Our kin-folk spread across an entire planet... I long to see such a day with my own eyes.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow An energy shield.
Delusionist: It can only be described as a masterpiece. What could bring us more relief than a shield that completely covers the entire machine?
Delusionist: This technology has already been tested on the automaton "Beetles." We just need to enlarge it and equip it to the back of the Engines of Creation.
Manager: Why would they need a giant shield?
Delusionist: A good question! Because the extraterrestrial threats to our planet are already too great to be ignored.
Delusionist: For now, it's the IPC, but what will it be next time? Even if we cannot fight back, we must be able to protect ourselves.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Delusionist: Perfect! What could be cooler than a moving fortress!?
Manager: You won't be laughing when you have to charge this "fortress."
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow Agricultural equipment.
Delusionist: To be more precise, a three-part combination of a disk plow, a planter, and a watering system.
Investor: If you want to reap rewards, you must first plant seeds. When the environment recovers, there is sure to be a large amount of land out there, waiting for us to cultivate.
Investor: If we have this set of equipment, the Engines of Creation will be able to keep opening up new territory and expanding our borders. Every bit of earth they tread upon will become a part of Belobog.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Investor: One day, Belobog will no longer be a lonely city.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow A disco ball.
Investor: I know this one! In the past, people would use them to illuminate parties. They even change color beautifully!
Manager: Parties, huh... Though the recreational needs of the people are important, do we really have a venue that would require a giant light like that?
Investor: We can rent it out to the IPC and other extraterrestrial guests! I recently came across a new concept on my phone. It's called going on... going on tour! Doesn't hearing something like that just make your ears perk up?
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Elderly Scholar: Connecting with the universe is a great thing, it's just... It's hard for us old folks to not feel behind the times.
Delusionist: Are you saying, you've never been to a party before?
Elderly Scholar: When I was young, all my efforts went on studying... Ahem. We can save this idle chit-chat for another time.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Manager: Next, we have our final item: What fuel source should be used for the power cores?
Manager: To be frank, we have not spoken a great deal about this technology and only have two plans. If you have any better ideas, please do say.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Geomarrow extract.
Elderly Scholar: For a giant machine like the Engine of Creation, power is absolutely crucial. Geomarrow that has been purified and liquidized contains a great amount of energy that can meet the high power consumption of the Engine of Creation over a short time.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Manager: An energy source like this has to undergo various stages of refining and will take a lot of effort... Fortunately, the volume required will not be as great.
Manager: If the IPC is willing to help, we may be able to prepare it in no time.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow Geomarrow crystal kernels.
Delusionist: For a giant machine like the Engine of Creation, having power that lasts is crucial. Geomarrow crystals can sustain combustion for a long time, allowing them to provide endless energy to the Engine of Creation. The only problem is that the quantity needed will be considerable...
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Manager: This kind of Geomarrow ore does not require intricate refining processes. We should be able to gather it in no time.
Investor: Indeed, this will reduce our time till completion even further.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow Washed coal.
Investor: What's that? Doesn't sound like something that could power an Engine of Creation.
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Arrow Love.
Elderly Scholar: Love... is a source of energy?
Delusionist: Don't underestimate this suggestion. I've heard a saying before: "Love is the greatest power in the universe. It can transcend time and space..."
Delusionist: Perhaps it is a power that comes from a certain Aeon.
Icon Dialogue Arrow This one.
Investor: Using the most powerful source of energy to power the Engine of Creation... That sounds logical.
Manager: Although, how are we supposed to harness this energy...?
Manager: Let's go and ask the Supreme Guardian later...
Icon Dialogue Return Let's keep thinking.
(Return to previous options)
Manager: Alright, discussions on all the Engine of Creation proposals are complete, and we have finally found a plan.
Manager: Although... this project will rely heavily on the IPC, so the four of us will have no right to make the final decisions.
Manager: I will hand these over to Director Topaz. Thank you for overseeing the discussion today.
Manager: It's a shame we have nothing of value on the site. Take these as our thanks.
Icon Dialogue Exit I have other things to do.
Manager: Very well. We will be here, so come back when you have time.
