Dialogue
- (First interaction)
- @Say-No-to-Vices: (Kid/
Girl), you look pretty bummed out. Got something you need to get off your chest? - @Say-No-to-Vices: Or did you do something that goes against your conscience?
- @Say-No-to-Vices: No worries. Whether you've got something on your mind you need to share, or some mischief you wanna confess to, I'm right here, all ears!
I'm sorry for being born a human.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Wow, you're not just down, you're practically drowning in gloom! Looks like you desperately need some counseling from yours truly.
I didn't do anything bad, so I'm not happy.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Well, that's a bit more complicated... Sounds like you've got some serious issues going on. I'm gonna need you to come with me.
Who says I'm not happy? I'm totally happy!
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Your mouth says one thing, but your heart says another! That's a sign of mental and physical dissonance right there. Nope, can't have that. You're coming back to the Security Bureau with me for a proper counseling session.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Hahaha, look at your face! I'm just messing with you. When it comes to kids your age, I can tell if something's really up in a heartbeat.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: From what I can tell, you're nothing like those delinquents. You're totally a healthy, upbeat, positive-energy kind of (guy/
gal).
So you're the Psycho-Pass?
- @Say-No-to-Vices: What a cool title! But I'm just a normal security officer. The only thing special about me is that I deal with juvenile offenders a lot, so I've got some experience spotting them.
Are there a lot of delinquents around here?
- @Say-No-to-Vices: There used to be quite a few, but thanks to the Research Society of Happy Smiles, a lot of those kids have turned over a new leaf.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Oh, by the way, do me a favor. If you run into any troublemakers around here, give me a heads-up.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Or you could just report it to the Juvenile Corrections Bureau. My big sis's team specializes in straightening out troublemakers.

- (Subsequent interactions)
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Whether you're here to vent or confess, I'm all ears!
Let's have a game of Cosmicon Collective!
- (Open menu)
Just wanted to have a chat, is all.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: A good chat is part of the corrective process too, so of course I welcome it.
What's your take on juvenile offenders?
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Ooh, now you're asking me about my area of expertise! And not just because I'm a security officer, but also because yours truly here... used to be a bit of a delinquent back in the day.
You really can't tell.
Now that's what I call a perfect match.- @Say-No-to-Vices: So, putting myself in their shoes, I've never believed that juvenile offenders are just born bad.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Just look at what's going on in society every day! Today, everyone's fawning over some absurd influencer, tomorrow some tasteless streamer's raking in a fortune. Kids see all this and mimic it. How can we expect to build decent citizens out of that mess?
- @Say-No-to-Vices: If you ask me, instead of focusing on reforming young offenders, we'd be better off rooting out the real cancer — those spreading twisted values throughout society.
How do you help rehabilitate juvenile delinquents?
- @Say-No-to-Vices: You want the diplomatic approach or the direct one?
Wait, there are different types of corrections now?
Let's try the diplomatic route first.- @Say-No-to-Vices: The gentler approach is usually reserved for kids who've pulled some minor stunt... Y'know, petty theft and the like.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: These kids are good at heart, coming down too hard on them won't help them straighten out. The key is teaching them right from wrong.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Most of those troubled kids straighten out after a little heart-to-heart with me. I mean, who could possibly say no to a kind and beautiful cat-eared big sis!
- @Say-No-to-Vices: But there's a small handful of juvenile offenders who really cross the line, I'm talking serious violent brawls and the like. In those cases, I have to play the role of "strictest mother."
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Heh-heh, so you like to let your fists do the talking? Well, looks like my "Level Nine Cat-Fists" are finally gonna come in handy.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Ah... don't get the wrong idea, I would never physically assault minors. They just regain their clarity after I smash the desk to pieces with one punch.
Give your thoughts on the "Research Society of Happy Smiles."
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Uh... that's kind of a sensitive topic for a public official like me, so I'll just share my personal take on it... but don't go spreading it around, okay?
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Objectively speaking, this group's existence has significantly cut down on the number of delinquents.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Used to be, I'd just finish fixing one up, and they'd send me two more. Now things are way quieter.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: After all, according to the Happiness Concession Principle, once people achieve happiness, they naturally become more courteous and willing to give way, which means way fewer social conflicts.
So you agree with them?
But at what cost?- @Say-No-to-Vices: I get what you're saying. There's definitely been some criticism of the Smiles Society, but for me, I guess I really value social stability over other things.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: But then again, if everyone really did live in perfect happiness, I'd be out of a job.
That's it for now.
- @Say-No-to-Vices: Remember to stay away from vices and be a healthy, sunny, positive (guy/
gal) full of good vibes!
