How pitiful the universe is, that people die without dignity, and then vanish into nothingness. You once sang in the gondola, reciting decayed verses from a fallen realm, where people dreamed of an afterlife. In that world, suffering would be rewarded and sins would be tormented. Brief lives would give way to an endless existence, and the world would know no more farewells.
A future of emptiness is the chronic affliction of the universe. You sang the song of death and invited the shadows of yesteryear to dance: lost children and departed lovers. Cries echoed through Ahatopia while tears gathered into rivers. You ascended to the moon and accepted a fleeting portion of that deity's authority.
You said, "There should be another realm beyond death." And then, the universe made your words come true.
