Investigate- The Deduction Club, the Roboball Club, the Drama Club... looking out at the sea of stalls as far as the eye can see, an urge wells up within you — If anyone can submit a request, why can't there be a club for you in this school?
- That's right, so it's time to draw up a plan first. If you could, what club would you form at Paperfold University?
...A literature club.
- You love literature very much, and maintain your firm belief that every school should have their own literature club. Books are food for our soul, and they can even be used as actual food in the dream.
- Keep going. What sort of literature club would you like to form?
One that sends the heart aflutter!
- ...All right. You've chosen a rather dangerous direction, and are determined to pay the price for this decision, including but not limited to: completing poetry assignments, conducting regular discourse with club members, and witnessing hard truths.
- The club is formed without trouble, but eventually, due to various reasons, you and one other person are all that's left of the entire club. Even so, she insists on staying with you, never leaving your side.
- The literature club you formed will always, always carry on, unto eternity.
Just read a book quietly.
- Yes, this should be the sort of activity befitting a literature club. You like the ordinary life, not being whisked into those bizarre, life-altering troubles. And so you write up particularly stringent rules and meticulously select club members.
- Only one student makes the cut, everything about her meeting your requirements — ordinary height, ordinarily short hair, and wearing a pair of ordinary glasses. The sort that would instantly disappear in a crowd if you thrust her in there.
- The club life you hoped for starts just like that. No fanfare, no roses, just endless reading time. You two sit in the classroom, reading quietly, occasionally exchanging words, but that's it.
- Until one day, some student barges in, shouting "Saving The World By Overloading It With Fun," then takes over this classroom and subsequently absorbs you two as her new club members.
- The literature club you formed formally concludes its duty at this moment, becoming the first stepping stone for a new world.
- ...Sincere congratulations.
- ...
- All right. Daydream time is over. I'll applaud you once — great imagination, but don't do it at the school gate next time.
...Music club.
- As a Trailblazer who is always at the forefront of style, of course you won't miss out on the trendiest band-themed bandwagon. Music has that immersive allure, and you believe that those melodious rhythms are an outcry from your soul.
- Keep going. What sort of music club would you like to form?
...I like chill music.
- That's right. Club activities gotta be chill, not to join some major competition for some shiny award. You are certain you aren't someone whose lifelong ambition is in music — enjoying life is what you really need.
- Luckily, you find four like-minded students and form a light music band. You successfully experience an idyllic life of chill music and crumpets, not having to worry about selling tickets or drama between members.
- This is what a band should be, no? No need to be mired in constant worry that someone is here to end this beautiful lifestyle.
- Later on, you all graduate, and the band naturally disbands. You are aware that your grades and your music skills are the antithesis of each other. Choosing to graduate normally marks an end to your band dream.
- No matter what, this was the most treasured memory of your school stint — a scene worth reminiscing on.
- ...Sincere congratulations.
...I prefer classical woodwind and brass.
- You never thought of yourself as a nostalgic person before this, but every time you see those profound classical instruments, your heart wells up with a surge of longing.
- So, you decide to pursue your dream, even if you will be met with countless setbacks. You write down "Concert Band Club" on the request form with trembling hands, submit it to the student council, and later realize...
- ...Paperfold University already has a Concert Band club!!!
- All right, looks like someone else thought of the same thing as you. No matter what, you can seek them out in the future.
- ...
- All right. Daydream time is over. I'll applaud you once — great imagination, but don't do it at the school gate next time.
...The (Trailblazer) Club.
- That's right. Dean Glaux has his own statue, and Old Oti's biography has been reprinted who-knows how many times. As Penacony's major shareholder and awesome Festive Superstar, Paperfold University shouldn't have a problem with a club themed after yourself, right?
- That's right. So, keep going. What sort of (Trailblazer) club do you want to form?
Academic.
- A student's duty is to study. With such a rare opportunity, why not have the members delve into your adventurous experiences and trailblazing expeditions? You gather a group of students interested in the Nameless and form an academic club about you.
- You regularly hold discussions, write discourse theses, organize academic seminars... Slowly, you start to get accustomed to school life — it is peaceful and beautiful here, no need to face any unknown threats.
- If a Trailblazer becomes a researcher for Trailblazing, they won't be Trailblazing anymore. At the very least, you have acquired safe and stable happiness.
Entertainment oriented.
- You are clear that no one likes stuffy academic reports. The most effective promotional methods are always aimed at the lower end of the market funnel. So, you call upon your members, and, "inspired" by the Slumbernana Monkey's style, film dozens of short videos where you're the main character.
- What is surprising is that these videos go viral on Paperfold University's forum. Your image becomes a popular internet meme, and the emojis made out of it spread like wildfire among students' phones. Good, you are a legend now.
- Legends can never die. In this chaotic world formed from the dreamscape and subconscious, you have attained immortality.
- ...Sincere congratulations.
- ...
- All right. Daydream time is over. I'll applaud you once — great imagination, but don't do it at the school gate next time.
Never mind.
- Forming a club is too exhausting, and doesn't align with your energy conservation principles — It's better to be a guest student who doesn't rock the boat.
