Story

From an ancient meteorite crystal, nomadic miners unearthed a severely corroded record. Its texture closely resembled vinyl, its surface shimmering with an oily iridescence. Every miner who came into contact with it suffered mutations of varying degrees: Some aged at an accelerated rate, others experienced a reversal growth of their skin tissue, and still others simply ceased to exist. With the assistance of an Omen Vanguard, the IPC recovered and secured the record. After layering it with protective measures, researchers ran an experiment. They played it, yet heard nothing. Not a single instrument registered any response. So it was speculated that either the Finality's melody was simply beyond all observation, or this particular Finality no longer existed anywhere in our universe, or perhaps, both.
