Terminus

At that moment, THEY'll manifest THEIR entire divinity into a clutter of black cats that travels across the universe while murmuring a prophecy that is destined to be fulfilled.
Terminus is an Aeon in Honkai: Star Rail representing the Path of Finality.
THEY exist as a pack of black cats, traveling backwards in time towards the universe's birth.[3]
Profile
Terminus travels against time from the future, having split THEIR divine corpus into a pack of black cats, empowering each cat with a part of THEIR divine power.[3] According to Elegy, a member of the Creed Exequy, THEY appear at every moment of Finality, bringing prophecies of the future.[4] Terminus is described as being asleep, and the words heard are simply somniloquy, commonly known as sleep-talking.[5] As THEIR words are merely murmurs, time has to be taken to decipher the information behind THEIR words, often driving some mad.[6] There also appears to be a connection between Terminus and cuckoo clocks, with some people,[7] including Louis Fleming,[8] building cuckoo clocks to better understand Terminus.
The leader of the Stellaron Hunters, Elio, has an unknown connection to Terminus, with Constance regarding his existence as special. However, only the other members of the Stellaron Hunters know his true identity.[3]
Terminus has a prophecy called the Theory of Four Apocalypses, which states that four Paths will push the cosmos towards its end: Destruction, Harmony, Nihility, and a fourth Path that is yet to be determined.[9][10]
When any one of the scenarios within the Theory of Four Apocalypses begins to unfold, Terminus shall ascend and begin to move forward back in time. At that moment, THEY'll manifest THEIR entire divinity into a clutter of black cats that travels across the universe, murmuring a prophecy that is destined to be fulfilled.[11]
History
During the Swarm Disaster, when Ena was still looking over the universe, a dissonant interval was suddenly heard in the Beyond the Sky Choir's singing, signalling that Ena and Terminus have brushed past each other.[12] This marked the end of Ena, as soon, THEY were assimilated into Xipe under the hand of HooH.[13]
After the events on Cyprogo, the blood of the people stained the library with blood. The Candelagraphos managed to discover Terminus' writing in one of the books, prophesying the start of the First Mechanical Emperor's War.[14] After Louis Fleming's retirement and the subsequent appearance of Fuli, the Candelagraphos wrote down three paragraphs of the memories, revealing that Terminus had another prediction: That Polka Kakamond will bring about the end of the Mechanical Emperor's War.[15]
After the events of Amphoreus, with the aid of The Dahlia, the Trailblazer used the power of one of Terminus' black cats to travel back in time and fulfill Firefly's wish of seeing the fireworks.[3]
