Declan is a Squad Leader and Captain in the Airspace Patrol Department. He has a good relationship with his mother Granny Daisy, and is well respected in the force.

History

Declan was noted by his mother as being something of a troublemaker. He joined Airspace Patrol twenty years prior to Phaethon arriving in Roscaelifer, and during these early days he was saved by Sigrid's mother, who was the Deputy Administrative Director at the time. He eventually became a Squad Leader, and when Sigrid herself joined, he took her under his wing, to the point she called him "Uncle Declan."^[1]

Declan still works in the Airspace Patrol to this day, at the age of 40 years old.^[2]
