Dialogue
- A pale flower blooms quietly and forlornly in the fine sand, unnoticed until you come across it.
- Yet the crimson that stains its corolla suggests that it is more than the fragile, lonely thing it appears to be.
- It's the trace of life and memory, obsession and regret, oxidized in air and Ether.
- Much as you hate to admit it, that trace belongs to someone you once known.
- The flower may be carried away by wind or tide, but a close friend, she... they would be the right ones to keep this memento.
- After contacting Orphie and Magus, they hurry to Sailume Bay...
- Orphie: Is that... Colonel Isolde's...?
- Magus: ...
- Magus: What are you doing here?
Maybe it's the tide.
Maybe it's the sea breeze.- Orphie: Or maybe it's Colonel Isolde's lingering affection for everyone.
- Magus: Such a cruel tide, knowing just how to make people ache.
- Magus: Such a cruel Isolde...
- Orphie picks up the flower, cupping it softly in her hands.
The air falls silent, as if afraid to shatter the flower that should have long since withered.
All that remains is the untimely sound of the tide, pushing tears back onto the beach of memory again and again. - But even so, they will eventually recede.
- After nodding goodbye to Orphie and Magus,
Orphie holds the flower close to her chest and leaves the shore of Sailume Bay. - Had We Never Parted Ways Achievement Complete
