Idle Quotes

(In front of Gravity Cinema, Mon 12AM)
Jing: Phew, finally done with my work!

(In front of Lumina Galleria, Sat 6PM)
Jing: It's finally the weekend! Time to relax a bit today.
Jing: I need to pull myself together tomorrow too.

(In front of Lumina Galleria, Sun 6AM-12PM)
Jing: Lots of customers on this Sunday night.
Jing: I should do overtime for some extra cash.

Dialogue

(In front of Gravity Cinema, Mon 6PM)
Jing: Weekends are always so busy... I always have to clean up the mess after every show.
Jing: But Mondays are a bit more relaxed. The cinema isn't as crowded.
Icon Dialogue Talk You can finally take a break.
Jing: A break? No, I'll make the most of my free time and pick up another gig after work!

(Next to the bicycle rack across from the Newsstand, Tues 6AM-12PM)
Si Yue: You're working two jobs every day? That's a lot, isn't it?
Jing: Yeah, it's tough, but I've got to plan for the future.
Si Yue: Plan for the future...? Working your butt off to save up for retirement?
Jing: Not really. Just trying to save enough money to cover my hospital bills in case I end up getting sick from all this hard work.

(In front of the SREC billboard, Wed 6PM)
Jing: I heard your cram school just had a quiz. How was it?
Azhu: You just had to bring it up, huh? I did the worst again... I don't even dare to look through my mistakes right now.
Jing: I—If you don't want the test paper, could I have a look at it? I may not have the money for the cram school, but I'd like to study your test anyway.
Azhu: Ugh, forget it. It's embarrassing. Just the sight of it makes me lose my appetite...
Jing: (Gulp) Then do you still want your food? If you don't, I'm happy to finish it for you...

(Near 141 Convenience Store, Thurs 6PM)
Jing: Why drink teamilk? You pay so much and get so little.
Jing: If you really need a boost, you can mix some glucose water yourself. You can make a bucket of that for the price of one cup of teamilk!
Jing: Throw in a little protein and some other basic nutrients, and you'll have a drink good enough to sustain the human body.
Icon Dialogue Talk Are you a robot?
Icon Dialogue Talk Are you a survival expert?
Jing: No! I'm just an impoverished employee who wants to save money!

(Outside Dew Gardening Shop, Thurs 12AM-6AM)
Jing: On weekdays, there's hardly anyone here, and the vast night view is quite nice.
Jing: Being so far away from the hustle and bustle of the city cleanses my tired, old, and traumatized soul.
Icon Dialogue Talk How old are you...?
Jing: I may look young, but my soul has already been ravaged by the vicissitudes of life after attending late-night cram school.

(time and day?)
Mia: A cat sneaked into the storage area a few days ago. It was jumping all over the place and was impossible to catch!
Mia: Mr. Shang told us to leave it alone and said it would leave by itself, so we ignored it the entire night.
Jing: And? Was the cat gone?
Mia: No, it gave birth to a bunch of kittens in the storage area... One problem became a lot of problems.
Jing: These problems are just too cute!

(By the SREC billboard, Fri 6PM)
Jing: My time is precious, so I need to study whenever I get the chance between my part-time jobs, or else I'll fall behind.
Icon Dialogue Talk You work so hard.
Jing: I don't have a choice. I need to work hard because my family is poor. Those who run frantically in the rain are all pitiful people who don't have umbrellas.
Jing: I don't even have shoes, let alone an umbrella...

(In front of the Lumina Galleria ads near Waterfall Soup, Sat 12PM)
Jing: The bargain hunters will definitely try to snatch everything during tonight's evening sale.
Icon Dialogue Talk Tell me more.
Jing: They are a group of people who come to buy things during the Saturday evening sale.
Jing: There's a strong middle-aged woman who charges forward with a cart and a strange old man who pretends to be sick to stall other customers while other members take this chance to buy whatever they can.
Jing: Sometimes I get the feeling that they are a well-trained combat squad.
Icon Dialogue Talk Doesn't the manager do anything about it?
Jing: There's nothing we can do. They are our customers!
