Newsstand

The Newsstand, or Howl's Newsstand, is an Activity run by Howl in Sixth Street and Eve in Lumina Square. It is a newspaper kiosk that sells numerous newspapers, magazines, and scratch cards.
In-game, the Newsstands allow the player to obtain a daily reward in the form of a scratch card and read the Ridu Newsletter.
Ridu Newsletter
Ridu Newsletter is a daily updated newspaper which allows the player to read news about New Eridu. After major commissions or chapters, the headline changes in relation to the story's events, whilst the daily stories are chosen at random, often repeating.
Scratch Card
The player can scratch one card per day. The possible rewards depend on the day and runs on a 30-day cycle. The day cycle only advances when the player scratches a card, and resets once day 30 is completed. Once the player has unlocked the Divination feature at Suibian Temple, they can only participate in either the newsstand scratch card or the temple divination once per day. If a Proxy has already completed one of these activities for the day, they will not be able to access the other.[1]
Special Days
On day 3, 8, 15, 20, and 27 of each cycle, Polychromes are guaranteed, but the amount is random as follows:

Normal Days
On all other days of the cycle, scratch cards only have a low chance of rewarding Polychromes, and are more likely to grant varying amounts of Dennies.
