Steps
- Meet Sigrid at Cuppa Moment
Dialogue
- You meet up with Sigrid at Beckford Street
- (Talk to Sigrid)
- Sigrid: I don't think I've enjoyed afternoon tea at Cuppa Moment in quite some time.
- Sigrid: I used to have afternoon tea quite often myself, but it seems I was always joined by my seniors...
- Sigrid: I haven't had many opportunities to enjoy afternoon tea with someone young like you.
I'm honored.
I hope I don't end up disappointing you, Sigrid!- Sigrid: I may not know the place personally, but Cuppa Moment is a highly regarded tea room in Roscaelifer!
- Sigrid: As your host, I should be the one hoping I won't disappoint you!
- (While following Sigrid)
- Sigrid: Beckford Street is always busy...
- Sigrid: Cuppa Moment is rather popular!
- (Upon arriving at Cuppa Moment)
- Sigrid: I can already smell the aroma of tea!
- (Talk to Sigrid)
- Sigrid: I'm far from being an afternoon tea expert like Lady Velina, but many of my childhood memories are of sharing tea and snacks with my elders in the afternoon.
With your elders?
Childhood memories?- Sigrid: That's right. Even now, I can still clearly remember the reception room at home, beside the warm fireplace...
- Sigrid: Mother and Lady Lindverne sat in tall-backed chairs as the kettle on the stove bubbled away.
- Sigrid: Yet what stands out more vividly than the fragrance of tea is the smell of cookies and treats.
You were just a child back then, after all.
What a heartwarming scene!- Sigrid: Yes... It really brings back such fond memories of childhood, doesn't it?
- Sigrid: Back then, I couldn't understand most of what Mother and Lady Lindverne talked about. I only listened with real interest whenever Lady Lindwyn [sic] started joking around...
- Sigrid: To me, even the finest tea tasted rather bitter, yet the simple sweetness of ordinary cookies stayed with me.
- Sigrid: And afternoon tea wasn't always a comforting occasion... In fact, I was often quite nervous.
How so?
It wasn't always comforting?- Sigrid: While I was taking advantage of Mother's distraction to sneak cookies one by one, she would abruptly ask about the state of my training!
- Sigrid: Questions like how far I'd gotten with our family's martial arts... or what page I'd reached in those enormous books on governance... The sort of questions no child could easily answer!
- Sigrid: Thankfully, Lady Lindverne would always come to my rescue and help defuse the situation...
- Sigrid: "Young Sigrid has made incredible progress recently! She's already able to take down a training dummy with one punch!"
Your mom sounds really strict!
Lady Lindverne is so kind!- Sigrid: Mother may have been strict, but she always kept plenty of my favorite cookies at home... Her ears could track Ethereals from miles away, yet somehow never heard me crunching away on cookies.
- Sigrid: Lady Lindverne may have spoiled me during afternoon tea, but when it came to setting my daily training regimen, she never held back!
- Sigrid: Despite their very different personalities, Mother and Lady Lindverne had one thing they both agreed on... "Afternoon tea was for spoiling Sigrid."
- Sigrid: And that's why I no longer had afternoon tea once I became an adult... I had grown up, so I couldn't allow myself to be so willful anymore.
- Sigrid: I don't need a warm, safe haven anymore.
Even adults need to be children sometimes, right?
- Transcription missing
- Sigrid: Mm! I understand what you mean. Even the strongest person is like a bowstring. You need the right balance of tension and relaxation to stay at your best.
- Sigrid: But I'm all grown up now, so I don't need you to smooth things over for me like Lady Lindverne did!
Let me spoil you a little every now and then.
- Significant Trust increase with Sigrid de L'Azur
- Sigrid: Spoil me...?
- Sigrid: Spoiling me was always the "job" of my Mother and Lady Lindverne... Yet somehow, it doesn't feel strange hearing it from you.
- Sigrid: In any case, that's why I've always regarded afternoon tea as something deeply personal and private.
- Sigrid: Afternoon tea is something I only share with my closest family and dearest friends.
Then I'm honored!
Let's do this again sometime.- Sigrid: I hope you will join me again next time.
- Tin Master finally brings out the "bubble-bubble" teapot, and you enjoy a cozy afternoon tea with Sigrid.
- (Idle in free roam)
- Sigrid: A rare afternoon...
