Trust

Trust is a game system in Zenless Zone Zero, referring to the protagonist's relationship with other Agents, which is used to claim corresponding rewards, unlock their personal Dynamic Wallpaper, and access more of the Agent's Partner Archive entry.
Overview
To unlock Agent Trust and DMs, the player must complete certain pre-requisites:
- Unlock the Agent.
- Complete the Main Story Chapter/Special Episode that unlocks the Agents in the Intel list.
- Complete the "Anby's Problem" commission (available after Mission Unthinkable (B)).
- Complete their Agent Story, in the case of non-limited S-Rank Agents.

Trust is measured via a hidden point system:
- Gaining a Trust Increase adds 1 point.
- Gaining a Significant Trust (Increase) adds 2 points.
- Gaining a Trust Decrease removes 1 point, but cannot decrease the Agent's Trust Rank.
After accumulationg enough points, the respective Agent's Trust Rank increase commission is accepted and tracked. It must be completed to continue accumulation of points, until the Trusted (maximum) rank is reached. When that happens, points can no longer be gained or lost, but the methods of gaining or losing those points still remain, and can be done, albeit with no positive/negative effect to the Agent's Trust Rank.
Trust can be obtained via multiple methods:
Trust Events
Agents may appear around the city, signalled by their icon appearing in the interace below the Travel menu (and usually contribute to the number of Commissions available). Talking with them can give Trust Increases or Significant Trusts, either by selecting certain dialogue responses or simply completing the event, depending on the Trust Event.
Selecting certain responses for Agents with their Agent Trust added in Version 1.0 can also lead into a Trust Decrease. However, this has been discontinued for newer Agents, with similar responses doing nothing instead, if present.
Agent Invites
By using Knock Knock, the player can invite Agents to hang out at a specific location during a time of their choosing (depends on the commission) for Agents with their Agent Trust added in Version 1.3 or lower; or as a Quality Time Invite for Agents released in Version 1.4 or above. A Trust Increase is guaranteed by completing the event, and depending on the invite, selecting certain dialogue responses can also result in a Significant Trust, or a total of 2 Trust Increases (one from dialogue responsesand one from completing the event), which is equal to a Significant Trust.
If the player does not meet with the Agent at the appointed time (or gets to the next day without starting the Quality Time Invite for Agents with their Agent Trust added in Version 1.4 or higher), the Agent will later contact them about not showing up, but this does not penalize their Trust, or anyting else.
Quality Time
After the player reaches Trust Rank Close, they can invite Agents to spend Quality Time with them, which is different from Quality Time Invites. Each Agent has 5 Wish Events, however only one can be completed per session. Once the Wish Event is completed, the player is put into Free Roam. They can also stop at certain areas to experience a specific Agent's Fun Events; completing a certain number will give them rewards. Also, they can play games with the Agent at Godfinger.
Trust Rank
An Agent's trust points contribute to increasing their Trust Rank. There are four Trust Ranks, with "Indifferent" being displayed if the player has not fulfilled the Agent's Trust requirements.

Agent Rank-Up Events
After an sufficient Trust points are accumulated toward an Agent (depending on the Agent's rank), a Trust Rank Commission will occur; completing it increases the Agent's Trust Rank by one level. Special Events (if any) will be archived and can be viewed repeatedly. There are three Trust Rank Commissions for each Agents as of the moment; with a similar Commission allowing the Agent to promote the Video Store instead.
Players cannot gain more Trust points if they are pending a Trust Rank increase.
