Venus is an NPC. She is a commission broker who sometimes provides Phaethon with challenging commissions to help them gain Inter-Knot Credit. She can sometimes be found sitting at a table at Coff Cafe's Sixth Street or Lumina Square locations.
Profile
Venus deeply cares for the newbie Proxies she takes under her wing, almost motherly. She takes their safety quite seriously, telling them to avoid overexertion when completing missions, and to run away if necessary even if it means abandoning their objective.

A few hours earlier, within the Hollow of Port Elpis, a shattered figure lay motionless. Humans and Ethereals hurried past, no longer sparing it a glance. - It couldn't grasp the things that were never explained in the rules. The things it witnessed, the things that saw it, and the destructive blows that followed. All it could do was wait — wait to be rescued, bearing secrets that weren't its own, returning to the merchant association for repairs, deployment, work, and trade... only to be saved once more.
- A shadowy figure approached, tearing off the retrieval beacon affixed to its frame and erasing its way home.
Its broken form couldn't produce sound. Only its fractured logic circuits spun endlessly, "Who are you?" - "We are ourselves." Though the question was unspoken, the figure seemed to hear and replied.
A cold cable extended like a spider's thread, delving deep into its logic, weaving and entangling. - "Where are you taking me?"
