Wandererboo is an old, outdated model of Bangboo, whose language module is dysfunctional, causing them to have stuttered, lagging speech patterns.
History
Evelyn encountered the unnamed Wandererboo on the streets, where it was wandering aimlessly and bumping in to things, damaging itself. Feeling bad for it, she took it to a shop for repairs before finding someone to take care of it, as she would be too busy to take care of it herself. She took Phaethon to Reverb Arena to either see about finding the Bangboo a caring family, or to help it contact a Trainer Bangboo from the Marcel Group to help improve its prospects.
If the player chooses to speak with the Bangboo Trainer: Coach Work it enthusiastically looks over the Wandererboo but notes that due to being outdated and its defective language model, the Bangboo would require one-on-one training, which it couldn't provide at the Arena. If the player chooses to look for a rich family, the trio scour those gathered at the arena, coming across Sean, however his condescending attitude and complete dismissal of Wandererboo, to the point of stating that Evelyn should just toss it, almost pushes her to attack him before Phaethon pulls her away.
Out of options, Evelyn offers the Wandererboo the chance to come home with her, which it accepts immediately, filled with joy at the prospect of having a home. Evelyn and Phaethon are unable to settle on a name for the Bangboo at the time, with the bodyguard deciding to figure it out after getting back home.
