Zero is a Commission-Exclusive NPC, that can only be encountered during the Hollow Zero: Withered Domain hidden commission Measurement Device (Commission), once all pieces of the Measurement Device set have been found.
Profile
Zero was a member of the New Eridu Defense Force's Wade Squad, alongside Camie, Bardie, Marlos and Derry, albeit Zero was only a reserve member as he had not yet turned 18. He had promised the squad that once he turned 18 and had passed his assessment, he would stay with the squad.
However, on the day of his birthday, Wade Squad would get called to action as an advance squad during the expansion of Hollow Zero, as it was fast approaching the Zenless Limit. Not wanting to see such a young and promising recruit perish in what was to come, the members of Wade Squad would send Zero on an errand, keeping him busy while they shipped-out.
Zero would come into contact with the Captain of the squad, who informed him that he was transferring to a different squad, which was all part of Wade Squad's plan to save the young man.
Years later, at the dawn of his retirement, Zero would enter Hollow Zero once more, with the help of Phaethon, to remember his comrades from Wade Squad, by placing one of his medals at their final resting place.
