Trivia

• Lisa is seen using the unascended version of this catalyst in Xiangling's Character Demo, as well as holding one in her 2021 birthday art. Curiously, the book is mirrored in this artwork (both the spine and the text).
  • The book in her idle animation (which also appears in other birthday art: 2022, 2023, 2025) shares some features with Apprentice's Notes and Pocket Grimoire, such the two "straps" across the spine, though it's not the same 3D model.
• Noelle can be seen reading a book in one of the endings to her first Hangout Quest. Although canonically simply an ordinary book and not a catalyst, the model is a modified Apprentice's Notes.
  • It appears to use the unascended version as a base, with the star removed, title text moved lower and smaller, adds the "circle" and "corner" back cover elements from the ascended version, and all of these are gold instead of light blue. The round "attachment points" for the "straps" over the spine are turned white like the ascended version, though entirely rather than having a "hole" in the centre.
