Automatons

Automatons are enemies that are mechanical in nature. The majority of Automatons are Ruin Machines, although Automatons of different origin exist.
Types
Ruin Machines
Most automatons are Ruin Machines, which are divided into the Humanoid Ruin Machines and the Ruin Sentinels. These war machines are often found patrolling ruins, remnants from the fallen nation of Khaenri'ah. They mostly deal Physical DMG and are highly resistant against said damage type.
Primal Constructs
Primal Constructs are a form of automatons that were developed by King Deshret's civilization. They mostly deal Physical DMG.
Clockwork Meka
Clockwork Meka are a form of automatons developed by Fontaine. They deal Physical DMG, but are imbued with Arkhe in the form of Ousia or Pneuma which enhances their attacks to deal Elemental DMG and/or alters their attack style.
Secret Source Automatons
Secret Source Automatons are a form of automatons created by the dragon civilization in Natlan. They primarily deal Elemental DMG and will prepare a stronger attack when they sense a character using Nightsoul's Blessing against them.
An alternative form of the Secret Source, known as the Precursor's Secret Source, are a form of automaton created by the dragons for use on the Frost Moon. They primarily deal Hydro DMG, utilising the moon's Archaeolune Energy to gather Hydro, empowering themselves.
Domain Keepers
Domain Keepers are a form of automaton created by Asmoday to maintain the Temple of Space. They primarily deal Geo DMG and are able to "monitor" an element, increasing their resistance to it.
