Drzislav

Drzislav is a mentioned character in Genshin Impact. Anezka and Macola also refer to him by the nickname "Slava."

Profile

Drzislav is a scientist who once worked for the Fatui. His proudest work was a machine called Bobik-131 — a huge all-terrain transportation device capable of using kuuvahki to lift and manipulate large objects. When he learned that the Fatui intended to turn Bobik into a weapon, he fled and took his creation with him. Drzislav placed Bobik in the care of Anezka and Macola, two people that he once "[downed] eight mugs of alcohol" with at The Flagship, on the condition that they only ever use it for civilian transportation. He then disappeared to parts unknown.

Drzislav had a secret underground lab at Barrowmoss Barrens, though it is unclear whether he used it before or after leaving the Fatui (or both). It contains all the necessary equipment to work on, maintain, and reprogram Bobik.

He seems to be very meticulous, at least about Bobik — the manual he gave Anezka and Macola spends over 40 pages just introducing each component of the machine. However, he is also rather forgetful, as evidenced by the reminders scattered all around his lab.^[1]

• In some Slavic countries, "Bobik" is a common dog name. It may also be used as an affectionate nickname, or as a diminutive form of the name "Robert."

• Stephen Držislav (Croatian: Stjepan Držislav) was King of Croatia from AD 969 until his death around 997.
