Profile
Isak is a young boy who lives in Aaru Village. When the Akademiya sent people who had succumbed to forbidden knowledge to the village, he took a liking to one of them, a scholar named Khalil as he reminded him of his biological grandfather. Khalil was later kidnapped from the village under Rahman's orders when the Akademiya hired them to do so, prompting Isak to accompany the Traveler, Dehya, Cyno and Alhaitham.[2]
During the Akademiya infiltration, Isak volunteered to disguise himself as Lesser Lord Kusanali, luring the Corps of Thirty guards in the city to the Grand Bazaar.[3] Once the situation was resolved, Khalil's mind was restored and he decided to stay with Isak due to the care he had shown him. Isak is currently studying hard, as Alhaitham mentions in one of his birthday mails that he is now proficient in reading and writing in Vedanagari script according to several researchers stationed in the village, and the Akademiya sent him some primers for his talent.[4]

Dialogue
- Isak: Ah, it's you!
- Isak: Have you been doing okay? Been busy? Are you hungry? Wanna come to my place for a bit?
Steady there, Mr. Enthusiastic...
- Isak: Ah, I... Sorry, I didn't mean to bother you...
- Isak: But you saved Grandpa, and that makes you our family's hero! Thank you so much!
- Isak: Ever since that incident, I've been thinking that I should work harder so I can help my Grandpa, just like you did!
- Isak: Miss Candace always says that I should be thankful to those who've helped me and that I should learn from them.
That's very true.
- Isak: Alright!
- Isak: But Dehya tells me that I should be patient 'cause I'm still young, and that I should start small and learn to live independently first before learning to take care of my Grandpa.
- Isak: And that's why I've started cooking for myself lately! I've practiced a few times, and I think it came out alright. Wanna try some?

Trivia
