Location
Profile
Lovi lives in the Court of Fontaine with her mother and father. Her father, Mr. Delerue, works as a Fontaine Research Institute scientist and a reviewer for The Steambird and is often too busy to accompany her, so she spends her days wandering along Vasari Passage.[4] According to her father, Lovi is in "ill health."[3]
She met Aurele and his younger brother, Verut, while they were playing hide-and-seek one day. She and Verut got along especially well, as they are both energetic and curious, and the three continued to play together in both the city and the Fleuve Cendre. Aurele treats both Lovi and Verut as younger siblings, but Lovi appears to be more perceptive than Verut — she recognizes the importance of Aurele's attempts to become a reviewer like her father, and cautions Verut not to disturb his brother while he thinks.[5]
Lovi is very interested in clockwork mechanics, and loves to take apart and reassemble the clockwork toys that her father gives her. Sometimes, Freminet also lets her open up his clockwork penguins. She wants to build her own clockwork machines someday, so she started a "secret clockwork research base" in the Fleuve Cendre with Verut as her assistant. She hopes to make a "huge Clockwork Meka" to surprise her father.[6]
Appearance
She is a young girl with pale skin, blue eyes, and long brown hair tied in a high ponytail. She wears a yellow dress with white ruffled accents and matching long white socks, as well as brown slippers and large blue bow at her collar.

Dialogue
- Lovi: The Gardemeks are like huge clockwork toys! I wonder if I could open one up and have a look.
Like clockwork toys, do we?
- Lovi: Yes. My father's a great scientist at the Fontaine Research Institute, and he brings me lots of fun toys!
- Lovi: I love opening them up from the inside out and putting them back together bit by bit.
- Lovi: Well, that later bit doesn't work out sometimes, but other times, I can pull it off without a hitch!
I don't think you can...
- Lovi: *sigh* You're not gonna make some story up to scare me off, are you?
- Lovi: "Oh, you can't touch this, or the Gardes will catch you!"
- Lovi: Adults are so boring. That blonde guy I met at Leschots's is way cooler.
- Lovi: He doesn't say much, but he lets me open his clockwork penguins up.
- Lovi: That penguin was super cute, and its internals were really interesting as well. I think he made it himself, actually! Oh, I'm so envious of him!
See you.
- Lovi: Hmm... When will I own a clockwork toy of this kind?
