Recently, I once again perused some precious historical records related to the Seven Pillars of King Deshret. Among the God King's various pillars, the Three Kings stand out for their vastly differing temperaments. Yet, they have steadfastly remained companions to this day. While their shared experience of imprisonment in Aaru was certainly a factor, I believe the primary reason for this is their insistence on playing cards to ease their boredom throughout their long ordeal. As you know, this is also a principle I have long subscribed to, and not really a new discovery by any means. But the strong never miss an opportunity to grow. The wisdom shown by the Three Kings has also given me a fresh spark of inspiration — compared to card games which are rather competitive and fast-paced, perhaps chess is a more family-friendly game. And do you know why? Because chess is simply "check"-full of cheer... Having said that, have you thought of how to counter the "chess"-sault I'm about to launch? Come, play a round with me. | |
