Memory of Stone

Memory of Stone is a quest in the Varuna Gatha quest series. It is automatically received after completing the Varuna Gatha World Quest.

Steps

Head to the Yasna Monument and look for Aranakula
Look for Aranakula nearby
Talk to Aranakula
Move forward without being noticed
- If Aranakula runs away, return to the last location where Aranakula speaks with the player ("safe area") to continue.
- Aranakula cannot follow across water and will return to the last safe area once the player exits the water.
- There is no point in defeating the Fungi as they do not drop materials and new Fungi will spawn.
Go to the place that Aranakula mentioned
Clear the spores that cover the stones
Find the "branch" together with Aranakula
- The "branch" is located inside a cave. The entrance is at southwest of the hill, under a Four-Leaf Sigil.
Make the three "leaves" turn towards the "branch"
- Follow the Seelie from the cave entrance to the three "leaves."

Quest Description

Aranakula, who is said to be rather timid, has gone to the Yasna Monument, which is flooded with dangerous Fungi. Aranakula has seldom been left alone without the company of soil and seeds, so the poor little thing must need help now...

(Approach the marked area): Aranakula: Thirsty... Valuka bad, but too much rain also bad.; Aranakula: Roots suffer when there is as much water as Valuka. Branches and leaves suffer when there is muddy rain...; Paimon: Huh? Paimon can hear someone talking. According to what Arapandu said, this could be Aranaluka, right?; Paimon: But we can't see him. Did he drill a hole into the ground or something?; Paimon: C'mon, (‍Traveler‍), let's take a look around.; Aranakula: *sob* Aranakula and Arakunti can't beat Arabalika even if they team up.

Paimon: Seems like Aranara always speak in riddles... Paimon guesses we'll understand when we see it.

Paimon: Either way, let's go there with Aranakula!

Aranakula: Good Nara! Good Paimon! Let's not alert the bad guys. Use the safe road.

Step Description

The monument that is important to Aranakula is covered with spores. Clear them away.
