Nagahvaya is an open-world NPC located in the Desert Pavilion, Temple of Space. He appears in the open world after completing step 17 of the World Quest Unofficial Chronicle of the Desert Pavilion in Series A Long Day in the Mountains: Chapter 1 - Paradise.

- Nagahvaya: Esteemed seeker of knowledge, as a Herbad of the Skeptics, I respect your contribution on behalf of the Akademiya.
I've never heard of this Darshan before.
- Nagahvaya: That's because it's a long story. Back then, the Akademiya consisted of more than six Darshans.
- Nagahvaya: Under the guidance of my benevolent mentor, the great sage Nagarjuna, our Darshan held a modest place among them.
- Nagahvaya: At that time, we believed the world must be clearly divided into two poles: Light and Darkness, Khvarena and the Abyss.
- Nagahvaya: Only then would the whole of Sumeru, including the forgotten people of the desert, understand that we were always meant to stand as one.
- You wanted to unite the desert folk?
- Nagahvaya: Unite? No. I merely sought to enlighten them regarding their true enemy. But unfortunately... you can likely surmise the outcome.
- Nagahvaya: Those tribal chiefs, puffed up with their own might, defamed me as a "dangerous schemer" and expelled me before I even had the chance to state my case.
- Nagahvaya: Later, I lost my way in the desert, and when I woke up, I was already here.
- Nagahvaya: I heard that those tribes were obliterated shortly after the Abyssal calamity. They had no idea how fragile their might truly was in the face of the Abyss.

- We've actually run into people calling themselves the "Order of Skeptics" before...
- Nagahvaya: It is indeed a descendant of our Darshan. And I've heard of their deeds... Should they have caused you offense, I offer my apologies on behalf of the former Skeptics.
- Nagahvaya: The methods we once employed have become their purpose. Our philosophy has been simplified and distorted with the passage of time... Even here, time continues to flow. No one can truly triumph over time.

- The name Nagahvaya (Sanskrit: नगाह्वय) is debated by Buddhist historians as either the name of a possible pupil of Nagarjuna's, or as another name for Nagarjuna himself.[1]
